Dear Caregivers & Staff of Prestige Care, I want to thank all the caregivers and staff that gave my father the extra care he needed and received while a resident of the Stanley Road Property. I highly recommend that anyone who wants's their loved ones cared for by the unselfish staff that gives above and beyond professional care. Then you have the right place here. I went to many other properties' to see first hand how the residents were cared for and by far, Prestige Post Acute & Rehabilitation is a compliment to the industry of Care Facilities. Keep in mind, this was my Father were talking about and we made sure to research and see with our own eye's the qualities we were looking for. Luckily we found this home away from home for our beloved Father. We have no regrets and know from experience the care he received was top notch and should be an example of how to care for the ones you love.

Just don't put yourself or your loved one here. This place/company/location is horrible and that is the nicest word I can come up with. I would need multiple pages to explain. I didn't have a whole lot of time to find a temporary place for my mom while she healed from a 2nd break of her hip. We had stairs and no way could I pull her up in a wheelchair. I ended up taking her out 2 weeks later and we did what we had to. I cared for my mom for a long time so nothing was an issue, but the stairs. I turned them in to the ombudsman (I strongly urge to do so as well). I gave them a dead line to get their stuff together or she was out, they tired to threaten me with bills (LOL) that was very humorous. That just happened to be the only funny thing about the place. They skipped almost all of my moms dialysis appt, she never got a shower, they wouldn't make her meals when she got back from dialysis or if they made a mistake or forgot something. They never did her rehab until 3 days before I took her out after mentioning it many times. people were crying out for help, it felt like a morgue walking in, no A/C. There was no one on the floor, no one helped, I can go on! Bottom line, JUST DON'T.

I have tried to send a review several times and never seems to get through. My mother was at prestige rehab for several months and when I visited everyone there was friendly and helpful. They helped find my mother an assisted living home also. Both my mother and I are very thankful of the care they gave her. thank you so much.

I had never stayed at a place like this before, but if I have to again I will come back here. My nurses were great and tried to do anything I asked them. I did have trouble sleeping due to my roommate being taken care of during the night. Food is okay, but could be better. More accurate descriptions of the food would have been helpful. Therapy really helped me get back my strength. Social work was good at helping me get services in place.

This was my second stay at Prestige and while its not perfect, I would definitely stay here again. The staff are very friendly and kind. The Rehab staff were especially attentive to my recovery needs. Social work helped me to identify resources to help me during my stay and assisted me with all the details of my discharge plan.
I consider the staff my friends

This is my second time coming here and it is better the second time around. The staff was great and responsive to my needs (including my special food requests). My room is beautiful- large with lots of light. Evan did a great job with my daily physical therapy and I enjoyed playing air hockey (I am the queen of air hockey beating many employees at the facility). Bingo nights were great, residents were friendly and nice to talk with and I spent some good time reading. There was something to do at any given moment so when I wanted an activity there was always one to choose from. Hopefully I won't need a rehab facility again but if I do I'll definitely be back! This is the facility to stay at!

If my mother ever needed these services again, Prestige-Milwaukie would be my first choice. Everybody on staff was very professional and nice. Service was very good everyday. The care my mother received was above my expectations. The rooms are clean and nice. I have no complaints!

I would say I had an acceptable experience under the circumstances. The nursing staff here is very, very good. Especially the nurses! I would give them a 4 out of 5. One nurse in particular worked diligently to make sure my pain was under proper control. She understood the fact that I didn't want to take more pain medicine than absolutely necessary. The biggest negative I would have to say is the food. The hot food is never hot, the menu variety is poor and the quality is worse.

My grandmother had to stay here after a hospital stay for heart attack and infection. She is a type 2 diabetic and any medical professional knows stress and infection lead to high blood sugar. Her sugars were almost 400 with every check (4 checks a day) for a whole day before we found out they were not doing anything to bring her sugars down. They said they didn't have an order for insulin and evidently had no plan of getting one until we insisted she be treated to lower her dangerously high blood sugar. When we dropped her off we asked if we should bring her night clothes. They assured us they would help her into a gown. The next day we found her in bed in the jean shorts, T shirt, and bra we had dropped her off in. She was uncomfortable and not cared for here. If she was at home, at least she would be able to treat her diabetes. Who would have thought being at a care facility would mean her medications would actually be withheld from her... Needless to say we cannot trust this facility and are going to move her some place safer.

This was the worst experience my Mother in law had, during her 2 year journey with brain cancer. I would never recommend this place, in fact I would beg you to keep looking! My husband and I toured this place, and sadly, it was our decision to bring my MIL here, as it seemed great. THat was, ol she became a patient. She was left in wet clothes for hours, after having an accident. Her medication was not being handled properly, and they gave her a hard time for requesting pain meds ( after brain surgery) the Dr s order was every 4 hours, when we requested them to inform us of her last pull, it was 14 hours!... 14 hours, no pain meds and the guy was giving her a hard time when she was asking for pain meds! We went into with concerns and complaints, and they didn’t seem the least bit concerned. Luckily, my husband found a great place to transfer her to, except the care got worse in the mean time. Waiting the weekend to get her out of there was torture. On a side note, the residents don’t have their own phones in the room, calling your life ex one is a major pain, and sometimes when you call prestege, a resident will answer the phone, probably because they had the handset last. It’s an absurd system. Every resident should have the ability to safely call a loved one, with out begging for a phone call. They are grossly understaffed!

I fell and broke my hip in February and needed nursing care for my wound and therapies. The staff were all very professional and friendly which encouraged me to participate with my care. I cant say enough about how comfortable they made me feel and explained all the level of care i was receiving to get me back home. I recommended Milwuakie Post Acute to my friend having the same surgery as mine in April

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR LOVE ONE IN THIS PLACE!!! My Dad was admitted to the hospital for heart failure, after 5 days in the hospital his Dr's determined that it would be best for him to go into a Rehab facility rather than return home right away, due to his age and other factors. My family looked at a list provided by the hospital and did a small amount of research and decided on Prestige. I took my Dad to Prestige about 1:45 in the afternoon, I introduced myself to the staff, then I had to leave to take my Mom to a Dr's appointment, I returned a few hours later to have dinner with him and make sure he was settled. To my dismay he was sitting in a room with the oxygen that we had brought, a room with no blinds or curtains, and no one seemed to know where his meds were. I spoke to the nurses or aides to try and find out when he would have dinner and if they had any idea of when he would be getting his meds, still no idea this was close to 7 pm. They finally brought his dinner shortly after 7... Around 8:15 I inquired about his meds again, "we're working on it", I explain the importance of taking them on time with his meal, however didn’t seem to matter. By 9 pm I went to the nurses station again and asked about his oxygen and when his blood sugar was going to be checked, finally they brought oxygen and checked his blood sugar and gave him his insulin, then disappeared again. I called the family and explained what was going on and that I did not feel good about leaving Daddy there, they agreed. At 9:40 pm I went to the nurses station and explained that with the lack of care that my Dad had received in the short time he had been there that there was no way I was leaving him in their care. So I packed him up and took him home. My sister went there the next day to get copies of his paperwork and they would not give them to her, I called the administrator and left a message, actually 2 messages and did not get a call back. As far as I’m concerned this place is unfit to take care of your love ones...

This is a caring and compassionate facility that cared for my husband for two weeks in July. Only complaint was that the food wasn't as good as it could have been. All in all, they far surpassed my expectations for service and care.

My mom was in Milwaukie Convalescent Center for about three or four months. They are good. They did a good job and they were very good with mom. But that type of environment is not something she wants to live in. The nursing and others were very helpful. The Physical and Occupational therapy was always there to help. We like the way things are done. The facility was very clean. They kept everything put up in a way that people don't trip and fall. If they are cleaning the floor, they have the signs up to be careful. The food was good most of the time. The only thing she complained about is that it was cold by the time she got it.
