My father moved into Prestige Senior Living Arbor Place. The experience has been very positive, and they look in on him at least four times a day because he has an issue with falling. He enjoys dinner and all his meals there, he's used the bus to go to various places (like to go shopping), and they call me in case he falls. He has a large apartment, it has a big living room, with a small kitchenette setup, a bedroom, and a bathroom. They have studios, and a memory care area which he will be switched to if his Alzheimer's or dementia gets worse; he would have to share a room in memory care. The people are really nice and every time I call they're very open and willing to talk; I really liked them. They have a pastor that comes in for non-denominational services in case you can't go to church, they have exercise classes, weight management classes, and a small library.

I found the person who manages Prestige Senior Living Arbor Place very informative. He told me the details of what was being provided at the facility. It was beautiful, very well maintained, and the rooms were very nice. It would've been a good alternative for my friend. However, she is now very reclusive and I felt that she would not partake in all the amenities and it was a much larger facility. I thought that she is in a state right now that she would probably get lost in the place. They had recently done some renovations there, and the rooms were nice, light, airy, and very pleasant. It would've been a nice facility for her, but I don't think it was the right fit. They had a very nice dining room, a nice garden patio area, they offered exercise, they had people playing cards and that sort of thing, and group activities. They do excursions. They go out and do things as well and they were having some kind of an event at the place. They let the residents critique the meals that were prepared and they had just gotten a new chef and they had updated the menu. It sounds like they had a nice offering.

We went to visit Prestige Senior Living Arbor Place for my dad. I think that they were a good facility. They gave us a nice tour and the gentleman that worked there was very thorough. The room was adequate, the one that we saw appeared to be clean. It was a little bit on the smaller side, but it seemed like it would have been ok. They had a nice courtyard and the people there seemed friendly.

We had a tour of Prestige Senior Living Arbor Place. It just wasn't a good fit for my father. The physical community was clean and tidy. The person who gave us the tour was the manager, and he was professional and upbeat. We talked about the fact that my father is blind, and while the manager was very accepting of it, I think he had his concerns, and so I think that he was realistic. Activities were lacking. There just really wasn't a lot of activities. They had games, social gatherings, and social settings in areas of the building to allow people to socialize. There wasn't a lot of activity at that building. I saw one room. It was a very nice room, spacious, pleasant, and clean. The manager was great, but it's the staff that seemed a bit unprofessional and somewhat uncaring. It was not a bad place to visit. I think that it would be very fitting for a lot of people, but it wasn't fitting for our situation. It didn't fit our needs because we feel that my father probably needs a higher level of care than they could provide. The manager wasn't really offering us things that assured us that he would receive a little bit higher level of care. I think that people living there have to live a little bit more independently, and my father doesn't. He will need some assistance, and we realized that when we first got there. That's where I said the manager was very realistic, and I don't want this to reflect upon him poorly at all. He took his time with us, he was good with us, and it was a nice tour, but we just knew right away that it wasn't going to work for my father.

Prestige Senior Living Arbor Place was a little more intimate. The personnel was very nice. The facility was very comfortable, well taken care of, and the rooms were nice. It would have been a nice place for my dad. I ran into several of the personnel and they were all very helpful, friendly, and seemed to care about the residents.

The room at Prestige Senior Living Arbor Place seemed OK, but it was a bit smelly. There was no interaction among the residents and I didn't see the caregivers interact with any of them. The staff member sat behind her desk the whole time. The administrator who gave us the tour was nice, but the lady staff member didn't interact with us at all. I left saying there's no way I would take my dad to this place. We saw an empty room that smelled, but they were going to redo it and they were cleaning it up. They have an outside area where they can go, but it's fenced in and locked.

My mom has lived at Arbor Place for years. The care has always been ok. Not perfect but ok. A few months ago a new Administrator came and turned Arbor Place in a completely new direction. I find her to be responsive to the needs of residents, patient and kind. I have never emailed her and not received a response. She demands excellence and that is what the staff deliver. My mom is happier at Arbor than she has ever been. I am so pleased with the love and respect for which they care. The care being giving is top notch!

Prestige Senior Living Arbor Place was an excellent place. I liked the people, the building, the location, and the follow up. There were lectures, exercise, and planting outside in their courtyard. They had a speaker who was an artist and a resident there giving a speech on his paintings. The food smelled good. The administrator was excellent and very dedicated. Since her secretary had already gone home, she spent a lot of time with us and was very good. The studio room I saw could have been bigger. We went through assisted living to get to the memory care and it looked excellent. The dining room was lovely.

From the beginning of our journey to find my mother a safe, quality assisted living environment to live in Arbor Place stood out. I moved my mother in and the kind, caring staff, along with many activities has not disappointed me. She has been engaged in activities and loves the environment. She "loves all the people there and they are so nice." Arbor Place staff go out of their way to interact with and become not just staff, but friends of their clients. As a nurse I am very impressed with their professional attitude and the work they do for our most cherished generation. Every client interaction I have witnessed has been nothing but kind and professional. Robert Campbell RN

Arbor Place seems to be very good. It’s pricey, though. The facility is very clean, which is a wonderful thing. So far, everything is working very nicely, and we just hope that that continues. My friend’s room is very nice. It is a little one-bedroom apartment. We did purchase furniture, but it does come equipped with a refrigerator and a microwave, which makes it very nice. They take care of laundry at the facility, and my friend receives three meals a day. It is very nice. All the employees seem to be very nice. They’re very attentive, and they get stuff taken care of. I would recommend this community to other people.

I toured Prestige and I liked what I saw in comparison to a couple of places I visited, so that’s why I put my parents on their waitlist. What I like about this community is the fact that you are able to move around. For memory care, they have a lot of space. All of the rooms have windows that actually get light in them. They have a secure facility inside and outside where the individuals can go and walk around without trying to find someone to walk with them. The staff appeared to be gracious, helpful, friendly, and kind. It is the best place I saw in Medford.

Prestige is a little small, staffed with very good, nice, and helpful people. The rooms are fine. I think it’s a wonderful place. It’s very well done and very homey.

Prestige Senior Living is a fabulous place, but during my visit they didn’t have any openings. The manager that I met was wonderful. The rooms were very nice, and the place was clean. It smelled good.

They do their care by level. It has a memory unit, and it felt more like family. They had a little restaurant instead of sitting in altogether with everyone. It seemed like a nice place, and it's really clean. The people at Arbor Place looked like they're having more fun, and they're happier.

Everything is going good in Prestige. They welcome you to come there at any time of the day. Anytime I wanted to talk to my mother-in-law, it's just a phone call away. They're always there to help. It is going very smoothly. It's very clean and up-to-date, but nothing real fancy. It's very accommodating, and she has adapted very well. The only thing that I thought was strange was that when I pick her up every week and take her to lunch, she is not wearing her clothes. We did mark all her clothes with her name, but she is wearing somebody else's.

I was very impressed with Prestige Senior Living. The thing that I really like is if you don’t feel like going to the banquet area to eat, they would bring it to your room. You could choose from the menu or you could order a special. I thought that’s really nice because sometimes my mom is 89 and she doesn’t feel like getting dressd and going. Also, they actually come in to your room and give your pills and stand there while you take it. It’s another one I would move right into. The rooms were nicer, it had a beautiful view. They had a full sized refrigerator. Every day, they have activities. I just loved it.
