Everything at Lakeview Senior Living was excellent during our tour. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The room we saw was in really good condition, it's very nice. They have a library, and a meeting room, but they don't have a pool. I noticed that they had bingo going on at the time we visited, they also have available arts and crafts, and exercise. Everything about the visit was great.

We toured Lakeview Senior Living. The staff was very helpful. They made sure that the person I was going to see knew I was there. Everyone was very friendly. The clients that I met in the halls were smiling and happy. They seemed to really like where they were. There was a refrigerator and a microwave in the unit, and you can bring small electrical appliances, too. The person who toured us was very helpful, answered all our questions, and pointed out things that we might not have noticed otherwise.

We have my father-in-law signed up at Lakeview Senior Living. He's getting a studio apartment right now, and that's what I toured. I toured most of the areas and the facility where he will be going. It's a very nice place. He gets three meals a day. They have bingo and all kinds of different games and things. They take them to town, and they will shuttle him to appointments that he needs to go to. It depends on what needs he has. They have snacks all the time and drinks. It's a very nice place, and they've got very nice people. I talked to a couple of the residents that were very nice, too. They can have their pets there, and that's a biggie (a small dog or cat). It's very nice to have your companion. Joy, who I've been working with, is on top of it. They are having a difficult time right now because of Covid. They're actually in lockdown. They had a person that had been subjected to Covid, so I don't know how many people have it now. They are still taking people as long as they're vaccinated, have their booster, and stuff. They have to go through several different hoops as far as that goes too, to get them in there. It's a very nice facility. Everything was in Christmas mode, so everything looked really good. My father-in-law's apartment still had to be cleaned first (the carpet and all that). They do all that before they move another resident in. I wasn't there that long (maybe half an hour) talking to people and the residents, and everyone seemed to be doing what they need to do. An example of their food is almond crusted chicken. They have a selection of what they want to eat. They have snacks and drinks all day long. Since they're in lockdown, they're delivering everybody's meal to them. They're all in their rooms. It is for their protection. I like the location. It's one road away from a lake, so he can go down there and walk around. It's a really nice area. It's right by a hospital. I just really liked the layout and the place. It's a good-sized room. He has southern exposure (which is nice) with a lot of light.

My sister passed away there. She had a lot of clothes so I asked them if I could donate them to the residents. They said yes, But the first two people at the clothes were the finance lady and one other. Pretty low if you ask me.

Lakeview was great and would probably be the one we'd go to when Mom is ready. They were very friendly, and the folks there were playing Bingo and having a good time. I liked the surrounding area and where it was located. The staff is very friendly, and it looked like a great place for an elderly person who doesn't want to drive and be close to medical facilities.

The care and attention my sister receives here is indescribable. The staff and care team here go and be on their requirements. They are so warm and caring here and treat my sister like family. The food is awesome. The service is awesome. The help and staff here I would rate 10 plus.

Lakeview was like a hotel. The dining area looked like more a buffet restaurant than a cafeteria. There was a formal entryway, and it wasn't like walking into a hospital clinic. It was more like hotel. I continue to refer people to the facility when necessary.

My mom has lived here for over 7 years and when she was on the assisted living side she had a very nice one bedroom apartment . I would say that the place she had was very nice. The hallways are to cluttered with declarative things as to not let the people that need to use scooters and wheel chairs to get by that and other people. Many times there is NOT enough staff on to assist the people that need it or you wait for ever to get the help you need. Food is by far some of the best you can get in a place like this although you may experience long wait times to get any. The furnishings are nice the bus they have could be more spacious so you can stow your packages from your shopping trips, but they do go shopping and you can get to a hair dresser or doctor by there bus as well. I would say over all its a nice place but ........ Need more staff everywhere ie ........ care attendants most of all ! then house keeping and wait staff in the dinning room.

Lakeview is a very nice place to live. They take care with all the food, and they give you choices. We have a 1-bedroom apartment, and it’s huge. In fact, I have looked at the other two places in Lincoln City, and I’d laugh and say "my bathroom is bigger than your rooms." They have very nice activities, and we play pinnacle three times a week. We go out on different outings. We go to the beach. We go shopping to two or three stores a week especially at Christmas time, and the activities are quite good. Don’t make their caregivers cover up the tattoos; we love their tattoos, and for some reason they just started making them cover them up which is foolish because most of the young people that they’re going to hire to be caregivers and workers here have tattoos. They need to let them wear their tattoos proudly.

I felt that, compared to other facilities I've seen in the past, this one in lincoln city was superb. They really took care of their patients, there was always more than enough staff, so that the patients had attention whenever needed. Which is always a plus, because the lightens the workload when it comes to a job. Everything seemed to be quite organized, there was no major disruptions upon my visit, and I though everything was very professional. Some of the older people even seemed quite friendly and happy to be there. The patients told me they really enjoyed the staff as well. My sister-in-law works at this care facility, and she has made friends when some of the patients! It seemed like a good place to be.

Lakeview Assited Living is visually appealing. The grounds are well maintained and the main building, as well as the individual cottages appear to be fairly new. The entrance to the main building, as well as the lobby, resemble the front desk area of a fancy hotel. Residents' rooms are called suites and are fairly good sized rooms. They contain a kitchenette, sitting area, bedroom and a bathroom with a shower. The cottages are actually the size of two bedroom homes with garages and curb side parking. The dining area is set up like a fancy restaurant and residents have a very nice variety of food and beverages available to them at each meal, with the ability to dine in their room for a small fee. Staff are very polite and seem to be very invested in the needs of the residents, as well as the residents' family members. This facility is home to our county's only Memory Care Unit for people with Alzheimer's. The Memory Care Unit is set up in a very cheerful atmosphere, with the setting set up in a way to make tasks easier for the residents.

My Grandmother lived at Lakeview and we encountered discrepancies between the care provided to her, the accumulated care points, and several of her monthly bills some of which were not produced in a timely fashion. It took my family four months to resolve the issue which included involving a third party to assist with the situation. The end result was the facility over charged my Grandmother a significant amount, and her original bill was reduced by over half. I strongly feel this situation could have easily occurred to another senior who has less family support. This has been a concerning matter to my Grandmother and my family; needless to say my Grandmother not long resides at this residence.

This facility is what it is because of the people. The management and staff are all so wonderful and do the best they can, even when their own lives have some sufferings. It is like family there to us, when we visit my Mother and sister there. My Mother turned 100 the last of october. She has been in the facility 13 years. The kindness and compassion are so complete. The only thing they need is more cargivers and a helper for the wonderful maintainence man. They could use some volunteers to visit those who seem lonely, like my sis, When I leave her for a couple days, she could use the company. Love the place!!!! Highly recommend it!!!

From the choices available to us in our area as far as care for our elderly mother is concerned, we sought a facility/service that would cover all needs and be comfortable for our mother after our father passed away. Our first choice was to have a caretaker for our mother at her own home but after visiting Lakeview senior living our entire family feels comfortable with the decision we've made based on the following criteria. Staff was exceptionally friendly and gracious to us and our mother. Some of the caretakers and other services we looked at we felt leery because of the staff. At Lakeview there is genuine concern and friendliness. The rooms are very clean and all amenities are fairly new. The food is not gourmet cuisine and that is why I rated 4 stars. The hospitality is absolutely phenomenal and that went a long way towards our decision.

My relative has lived in a cottage here for some time, now, so I feel I can offer an honest review. Generally, the facility looks clean and well-kept. The employees are friendly. I worried at first, about employees having a key to my relative's cottage, but no problems have come up. When we visited the facility before signing contracts, my relative was promised 2 meals per day and meals delivered to cottage in case of illness. We were shown brochures with these amenities in print. When my relative signed an agreement, my relative was given a folder, complete with brochures. Shortly thereafter, my relative became ill, and was not able to go to the main building for food. The manager refused to have food delivered to the cottage. A friend had to come pick up the meal and deliver it. My relative was also told only one meal was provided, not 2, as promised. We took out the folder with rental agreement and brochures out to find the brochures in the folder were different than the brochures shown to us prior to signing. The agreement of 2 meals per day and delivery when illness occurs were left out! I honestly feel this outfit decieved my relative! I just wish I had a way to prove it! I and my husband accompanied my relative to the building for dinner one day. My relative paid for our meals and we were given a table. A full 20 minutes went by with no food, water, coffee served. My relative went to see how long the wait would be. I noticed people at other tables were falling asleep in their chairs. A person came in to us and informed us it would be another 20 to 30 minutes before we would be served. I asked her why they insisted people be there at noon if they weren't going to be served. She went on about how many people they had to take care of in the building. I asked her if the cook knew the dining room people were told to be there at noon, why couldn't he/she have their dinner ready to serve? The woman told me I was disturbibg the residents and I should leave! I was not shouting or raising my voice. My relative and the rest of us got up and left. My relative appologized for the facility. Shameful treatment of elderly! No appologies from facility!
