My dad has moved into Bonaventure at Keizer Station. It's excellent. It's welcoming, clean, and it has natural light. I feel like it has every amenity that creates a very welcoming location. The staff has been very attentive, very understanding, and accommodating. They have quite a bit of activities, too. They have a bowling alley, a crafts room, a garden, and a painting room. They have a big entertainment space that you can reserve for like a big birthday party or something. There is lots of furniture and there's a pool table there. They have two dining rooms, and my dad said the food is great. However, his particular unit is really far away from laundry, and so that's a problem.

We were impressed with Bonaventure at Keizer Station. It looks very nice. It's very well laid out. The room was nice, bright and open. There was plenty of room, and we were very impressed with it. The appliances were there; it was fully outfitted. The staff who gave the tour was very knowledgeable and very concerned about our desires. She answered all of our questions. One of the rooms we looked at was under renovation, but it looked like they were doing a very good job.

I like the size of the apartment at Bonaventure at Keizer Station. I love Liam, the sales manager. He was on the ball. He was ready and waiting for us when we walked in the door. He was able to answer all of our questions without having to go back to the office and dig around in files. He knew his business, and he took us through the facility. We got a really good tour. We saw three apartments. We liked them all. The room I chose had a washer and dryer hookup. It was well planned. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The largest of the rooms he showed us had a nice-sized kitchen. It was probably bigger than the kitchen I've got in my house. That kitchen took a bite out of the living space, but it was light. There was a nice balcony outside. The bedroom sizes were OK. The one that I'm choosing has a smaller kitchen, which I don't cook anyway. The kitchen is adequate for my needs. The living space is a bit larger. The master bedroom is an ensuite, which I like. The residents that we saw were very friendly and open. We chatted a bit with them and kind of got to feel that it's a friendly place. Keizer Station is a large shopping area, and there's shopping right across the street. If you get on the bus and go down the road a little bit, you come to another shopping area, so shopping is convenient. If there's anything you want, it is relatively close and it's like 4.5 minutes from my son's house. They had beautiful dining rooms, one for independent living and another for assisted living, although you can eat wherever you want to. There is a beautiful library area. There's a fitness area. There is a little bowling alley and a pool table, anything you want in the way of amusement. They have a movie theater. I liked the place. The staff that we met were very personable, were willing to give us any information and answer any questions we had, really open, friendly, and helpful. It was immaculate. It was clean. Even the apartments that were not in use weren't dusty by any means. The hallways were clean. The carpets were clean. The maintenance was very good. I didn't see anything that required maintenance or that had not been maintained well.

Bonaventure at Keizer Station was comfortable and classy. The apartment was roomy and just right. Lynn, the sales manager, was very open to questions. I didn't have many questions because he explained everything very thoroughly. I was very impressed with the dining area. It's a clean and comfortable place. There was a two-lane bowling alley, a puzzle nook, a library, and an exercise room for individual exercise and classes. There was a computer to use if you didn't have one in the library. There was also an on-site barber and beautician. They had live music as well as church services on-site weekly. There was transportation to groceries or they could be delivered in. It's right across the thoroughfare from Keizer Station, which is a mega shopping complex. So, you could be close to whatever you need. I saw their menu and it was a varied menu to appeal to the tastes of a large group.

We will be going to Bonaventure at Keizer Station. The thing that made my wife and I say, 'This is it,' is because they have a big 2-bedroom, 1-bath. There is a room for my wife's piano, and it is on the fourth floor. It's the largest unit available there at their campus. When we got there, it just felt right. It had everything that we were hoping to find. We also liked the very friendly attitude of the staff. We had a tour by the Executive Director, and we were treated very royally there. After our tour, we happened to run into one of the residents, and she identified herself as the welcoming person. She told us all the little things that we needed to know to have a good life there. She said, "When you're settled in, I'll come to your place. I'll tell you how you do this and how you do that." It was really nice. It felt very, very welcoming. The Executive Director answered all our questions. She created an offer for us that was attractive. We felt that the price of the room was in our budget. Their list of activities was attractive and not jam packed. Also, within walking distance about two blocks away is a mall that has about 50 stores in it, and that was certainly attractive. We saw people enjoying their meal in the dining area. The menu looked attractive. They have two meals a day that come with the package. For activities, there's a small bowling alley. They were gearing up for a bingo party. In the community part of the building, they dedicated a lot of space for recreation. The staff were very professional at what they were doing. The fact that we had the Executive Director taking us around, allowed us to discuss with her things that were favorable to us coming to that campus. We were very impressed and pleased with how we were handled there by the staff. It's a relatively new place. I think it's five years old, so it seems to be very up to date. It felt like they are on top of anything that needs changing or repairing.

My mother was at Bonaventure at Keizer Station. Her experience there was not good. It's a nice building, but no employee consistency. I would never recommend that anybody be put there. They had some activities. The gal that runs the activities was probably the best employee in the place, as far as I'm concerned, and the most helpful. It's a beautiful building; that's what you get for your money there. They did arts and crafts and they would do a little exercise, but they never took them outside of memory care much. There's not a lot of activity.

We've moved into Bonaventure at Keizer Station. We chose this place over the other ones because of the location and the availability of a 2-bedroom. Other than that, most of the amenities are the same no matter where you go. It's a traditional three-story winged apartment building, and it's nicely appointed inside. The staff is limited, but they're very nice. They need more people but they know that. They have good food. In terms of value for the money, it's very expensive.

We went to Bonaventure at Keizer Station. It's clean, but I don't think my mother got the proper care, and the food was crappy. She kept falling there, she was there like 6 hours before anybody found her. When I went to the doctor, the doctor said "get her out of there, don't take her back." Mom liked it there because more people communicated with her, she had more to do activity wise. Her room was a 10, it's set up really nice and they did come in once a week and clean. Everything about Bonaventure I liked except the care. Once you ring your bell for help, it takes forever for someone to get there, I think when they did get there they gave her good care to help while she was there. But overall, they should have known, like she fell, several times mom said, she pushed her button, and nobody would come. Mom thought the food was average. She did bingo, pinnacle, Mexican train dominoes, they had beer nights that she liked to go down to and be around people, they had exercise classes that she got to go to, they had physical therapy there, they had a hairdresser there. They had a movie theater and they had a little bowling alley. It was overpriced. As far as day 1, I went in there, I went over the prices with them, got settled on the price, next month they raised it, it was just a fiasco. When they moved her up to another room, they lost some of the furniture, the folding door in the closet kept falling off, she always had problems with that, and they would fix that once a week.

Bonaventure at Keizer Station was beautiful, and the place I was going to go into was brand new. However, I can't afford it. Everything is a 5 except for the pay. They had everything but a swimming pool. They had a pool room, a movie room, and computers. They had computer lines in every room -- same with television.
