From day 1 of my father arriving here I've regretted it. Regency has the worse communication with family members! Employees do not know how to transfer calls to loved ones & are constantly disconnecting you; or staff just doesn't answer the phone & will not return calls until you get mad. Their PT's & doctor never call with updates on how your family member is doing. I had 1 conference call after 1 week & none since (3 weeks total). I asked how long do you think he'll be there? Answer "He has insurance for 20 days, so at least that long". Didn't even discuss if they thought he was improving or not, just how long they would be paid. You have to call them & leave messages & hope they call you back (they don't)! With Covid19 you cannot visit your loved one & this place won't even let you on property to see thru window. Dads suitcase I sent him sat on his floor for 2 weeks & he didn't even know it was his!!! Trying to get Dad transferred to a better home has been a horrific experience & Regency has fought it all the way. I have to wait till he gets out to hear how they treated him, so far he hasn't told me anything good about this place. If you want to talk to anyone about your loved one or even talk to your family member, I suggest you choose another care home!!!

I think Regency Gresham Nursing & Rehab Center could do a better job at being proactive with things because I do have some concerns with them. You have a lot of CNAs taking care of the patients rather than actual RNs who are proactively doing things. They've done a remodel recently. The dining room is nice, and the staff is very friendly. For rehab, the place is nice. My father-in-law is in a shared room right now, but they also have private rooms.
