I chose Elms Retirement Living Center for my mom. Upon walking in, I felt like they were welcoming us and not judging. It's privately owned, so it doesn't have that corporate feel. For them, everybody is an individual and unique, so they assess and listen to what you have to say. Their food is awesome, too. Everyone is amazing, especially the worker guys. My mom likes hanging pictures and they do all of that for you because they want the responsibility, and they're very, very patient and wonderful. They have a pretty chock-full calendar every month that they publish. They have soda nights or ice cream nights. They have art classes, religious classes, and music appreciation. They have a lot of indoor activities. The only thing I can say about their external activities is you can't go on them if you have a walker or even a fold-up walker. Mom has a 1-bedroom apartment and it comes with a refrigerator, a 4-burner stovetop, and a little pantry off the kitchen. It has built-in shelves as well as a long hanging area rack. Every room has a balcony. They're redoing the balconies right now, and they're doing it in such a manner that it doesn't disrupt daily life for anybody. They have an air conditioning unit and everything else is free. They have cable TV, but if you want Internet, you do have to get your own Internet.

I toured Elms Retirement Living Center. It was a nice facility. Everybody was very friendly. It has four floors and they have an elevator. I met the director, Joanna, who was very informative. All the residents seemed to be very friendly and smiling. There was a bible study class, so we didn't go into that room, but we saw the salon, the movie theater area, and a couple of the areas where they do different things, like playing cards or working puzzles. There was an area for the Sunday church. It was just very clean and light. I prefer to have a ground floor because I have a little dog. Pets are OK, but only up to 20 pounds, so my little guy is only 15 pounds. They have an area for residents to park and an area for staff to park, and there seems to be plenty of parking. Right across from them was a community center where they did various classes and meetings. Elms Retirement wasn't new, but it was very clean and well taken care of. I liked it.

My father lives at Elms Retirement Living Center. I love this place. They have studios up to 2-bedroom apartments, and it's a 4-story building. The grounds are awesome and everything is clean. They have good food down in the dining room. They don't put very much spice because older people can't handle it, but it looks good. Laundry and one meal are included in their price. Everything is included except for the telephone. They have activities and they take their residents to the groceries and outdoor trips.

I toured Elms Retirement Living Center. There were many things that I like about it. I'm a stranger to that area, I don't know a soul there, but everybody said hello or good morning. They were all friendly, and the people that were working there, were extremely friendly. There's a library, there's an exercise room, and there're many, many things to look at. The apartments were very nice. It had a real refrigerator, not as giant as some of the homes do, but a large refrigerator. They had a small stove, a sink, and a walk-in tub. The carpets were all nice and clean. Everything was clean. It looked like it had just been painted, and it was very nice. They have a lot of things to do. They passed out a menu for us to see what the average month is like, and it didn't look too bad for me. I just really liked it. The staff who toured me around explained and answered all our questions. I took one of my sons, his wife, and their daughter with me, and that meant we had six extra eyes looking and three more people asking questions, and she answered everything that we asked. It is an older facility, but it was clean, and I didn't see anything wrong with it. If you like a brand new facility, then that won't be for you, but I thought it was great.

My father enjoyed living in Elms Retirement Living Center. They took care of him, it's a friendly community and the residents care about each other. The food was excellent, the rooms were clean, and it was a pleasant experience. They had a weekly movie night and he enjoyed that, they often got residents together to play cards. It's a very good value for the money.

Elms Retirement Living Center was very pleasant and tidy. The people were very polite. There is nothing I saw wrong with the facility. It's just too far for me. The rooms were clean and fairly nice. All of my things will probably fit in there. The staff who gave the tour was very pleasant and truly loves the facility. They were very knowledgeable of the whole program.

Elms Retirement Living Center was very nice. The people were very friendly. The price seemed to be alright. The room was pretty good. It was one of my possibilities. They have three meals a day. A couple of times a month, they have happy hour. The place is very nice because it is located in a nice small town. It is walking distance to stores.

Elms Retirement Living Center was fine, but it's not what I was looking for. The apartment was bigger than what I had expected. The facility was clean and well maintained, and the dining area was fine. The staff was very nice. They had outdoor areas that they could go to.

My relatives were in Elms Retirement Living Center. It was a very nice facility, and my mother took to it very quickly. They stayed there a month, and the staff was wonderful, very nice, and helpful. The price was reasonable and affordable. The apartments were very spacious, bright, clean, well-kept, and it was a wonderful residence.

We've lived in Elms for a year now, and we like it very much. It has a very comfortable, homey feeling, and we feel very safe. The food is good and has a nice variety. We have a nice apartment, a library, activities room, gym, craft room, and a theater. They have bingo, cards, movies, and socials. The staff is great and very aware of the residents and their needs. The people are great.

Elms Retirement was very friendly looking and clean, and the atmosphere was nice. They have social events, crafts, music entertainment, and three meals a day. The staff was very friendly, informative, and outgoing. They could have your hair done, exercise program, games, library, and a nice dining room area.

Elms Retirement Center has a comfortable and homey feel to it. I like the apartment, and the food is OK. I’m a little bit younger, so I am looking for some other kind of activities other than the usual ones for older residents. The staff are all friendly and helpful.

The room that we decided on was a one-bedroom apartment. For the amount we paid and everything, it’s quite roomy and well arranged. I like it. The staff is very friendly, very helpful, and go the extra mile. The food is very good. Compared to other places I’ve visited, the food has more flavor. If you’re not feeling well, they’ll help you out by having you eat at a different time, so they’re very accommodating. It’s kind of boring, but they do try to do a few things. Several times a week they have a bus that takes people shopping, and they have bingo once or twice a week. Because some of the people before we even got here at Elms used the hot tub and were irresponsible with it and let it run over, they covered the hot tub up and won’t let anybody use it anymore. They could improve on that and let people use the hot tub.

The Elms was too far away for us. They showed us a dark room, and evidently they didn't have many rooms at all; just a one-bedroom studio apartment. So we just saw one that had recently been vacated, and it was dark and dreary. We only met one person from the staff, and she was OK.

Elms is pretty good. When I need to go to a facility in the future, I might consider going there. The building is modern and clean. It is a comfortable place.

Elms Retirement Center is a four-story building providing from studio type to one or two bedrooms units. They also have patios and deck for outside view. Very nice place. They offer programs for in-door and outside activities. They have a systematic plan in managing the medication and staff were very professional Very nice facility.
