Dont send your relatives here unless you want them to die!!!! My mom was admitted due to stroke. She needed Rehab for 3 weeks before going home. The kitchen didn't get the info that she was diabetic until I went down there to talk to them. She had red skin on her bottom but not broken down. she had massive diarrhea that they wouldn't listen to me about what to give her to stop it. She got a bed sore on her bottom that eventually ate all the way down to sacrum. she died 3.5 weeks after being admitted here. Don't send anybody here.

The people in Valley West Health Care Center were wonderful to my mom. They're really good. The room was really spacious. Mom was by herself in the room, and she seemed really comfortable. She's also right next to the nurse's station, so they get to her really easy. It was really good. She was there for several weeks for rehab. They were remodeling but I think it was still very clean, nice, and really bright. They have a wonderful courtyard that we can go to, they also had a great big dining room with a large-screen TV. And they had all kinds of crafts and hobbies, and things like that, so her time was well-spent. The food was good, my mom had a not really good appetite so they made something appetizing for her or what she was wanting. We were on Medicare then.

We moved my parents to Valley West HealthCare, and they were very nice. The rooms were clean, nice, and bright. The staff was very nice to my parents and to us. The girls are overworked, and they have 19 patients per staff member. The food was really good, and my parents liked it. They took my parents in together, when nobody else would. They have a great dining area and rec room.
