I ended up moving to Garden Way. I chose them because I liked the looks of the apartment and the layout of the apartment. I liked the friendly management, the nice work they do in the cafeteria, and the great food they feed. A lot of the staff have just come on, so they're learning as well as I'm learning, but they're doing a good job. I think the food is very, very good, very plentiful and very tasty. I understand in reading that they have a lot of activities to keep people busy. There's a gym, a spa, theater, a chapel, and they have pool rooms, internet rooms, and a library. They have just about anything you want. I think I'm getting what I'm paying for.

I'm going to be moving to Garden Way. The building and the grounds were beautifully maintained. The staff members were very warm. The residents seemed very happy. I ate two meals there and they were outstanding. I just had a very good feeling about the place. The apartments were very nice. They met my needs. My apartment will have a full kitchen and a plenty big enough living room and bedroom. The staff members were wonderful.

We're moving into Garden Way next month. We spent a couple of days there actually. The staff was great. The people themselves and the residents are great. Everybody stops to talk to you. They're all really friendly, and the food was good. I liked the friendly staff and the residents.

Garden Way was like a fancy hotel. They offer in-room wi-fi and things that the other place doesn't. We liked that place. That was our first choice, but it was a bad fit for the dogs. The rooms were beautiful and bigger. The food was excellent. They offer movies twice a day in their theater and they have a lot of activities. The staff was good. We just couldn't see our puppies living there, but people have pets there. It's not that they don't allow pets or anything. It's just that our puppies wouldn't be a good fit for them.

Garden Way was great. The staff was very nice. The apartments were quite lovely but there was nothing available on the ground floor, and that was kind of the reason that we didn't go with them. The location was not as nice in. It's right up against the freeway and if you open the window, you can hear all the freeway noise. There's also no place where you kind of walk to, no shopping or anything like that, but there were lots to do in the facility. They gave us some cookies to go with because we didn't have time to stick around for lunch.

We had a very good experience with South Garden Way. The surroundings were beautiful, it's a newer facility, and it was very nice. The staff was very nice, pleasant, helpful, and informative. The apartment was very nice, the food is excellent, they have open dining and they're very accommodating to your needs. I was on a special diet. The dining room was beautiful, and everything was just nice.

I liked Garden Way very much. The people that gave me the tour were very considerate with me, people would come up and start conversations with me, and it felt better. I had lunch there and it was very good, and they had a salad bar so you could make your own salad. They also had a good selection of food to choose from. They have a large variety of activities, they have a weight room, a room they use for church, a room for teaching stuff, and they have a movie theater. They have different games. The facilities are clean, neat, and seem easy to get around. The rooms are not so big, but they are like little cubbies.

My mother moved into Garden Way. My mom gets help with changing her sheets and vacuuming, but other than that, she's fine. It is the best thing in the price range. It's wonderful and all-inclusive, so they get three meals a day and transportation to and from doctors and church. They're very gentle and kind with their people. The manager who takes you around is just wonderful and the people are great.

I loved Garden Way. It looked really great. Everybody that I saw, both the staff and the residents, had a smile on. Elizabeth was very pleasant and took us all over the place. We had lunch and it was very good. You can order whatever you want, even though meals are provided. You can order off a menu if you don't like what's being served, and it's all freshly cooked. They have a game room, puzzles, a television room, a fitness center, a massage area, and a private family room. You can also rent one of their rooms if you come by to visit and don't want to go to a hotel, which I think is really nice. It also comes with meals and everything.

My parents preferred Garden Way over any of the other places we went. It felt more like home to them. The staff was excellent, and the people were very upbeat. There was a very good, positive atmosphere. The community received a lot of positive feedback about the management team who had been there for an extended period of time. The food and the food options were very good. The pricing was good. They were able to do a buy-down where my parents paid a lump sum upfront and got their monthly rent reduced.

Garden Way was a well-kept, well-maintained facility with food service. They were interested in and tracking whether people came down for meals. They had a computer lab, theater, fitness center, supplementary kitchen area when family came, and transportation available. They had restaurant-style food and nice-looking apartments. The amenities seemed very professional, very clean, and very well kept.

Garden Way had tons of activities, a salad bar, and healthy food on a menu you could choose from everyday. They had massages, hot tubs, movie nights, and art classes. My mom was happy with all the activities. They had trips to the beach and wineries and a dining room that you can use just for family members.

Garden Way is really good. I have done a lot of research and I go to all the options in town. This place tops them all. It is very nice and my husband has all everything he needs. The best thing of all is the food. They make homemade soup from scratch. The price is pretty comparable to the rest of the place. It is close to the freeway. It is a newer place. It is very nice. It has a beautiful view, and it is quiet. I did not have a chance to try their food, but it is a little bit more expensive by $200.00. This is also much closer, so I can visit him more. The Garden Way people are very nice and very accommodating to seniors so I love it. My husband has been there for a week and I check all the time. His apartment is spick and span. If you are going to check it out, this place is a good option. The people seem really happy. They have movies, activities, and music people that comes in. I think it is really well run, and trust me, that is not easy to do with that much people.

Garden Way Retirement Community was wonderful. In fact, that’s where we were headed until we decided we needed to be near our family. Their apartments were very nice with full kitchens included, and the staff was really nice. We’ve eaten there twice, and it was very good. They take you to your appointments and have exercise classes. I wish it was in California; then that’s where I would go. We were there in the fall, and they had everything decorated with fall colors. For Veterans Day, they did a big event honoring the veterans. It's a large facility so to get people to exercise and walk around, they give them phony money to walk around the facility, then hold an auction where people can bid on things from that auction with their earned money. The prizes are not elaborate, just silly things like a roll of paper or a box of Kleenex, but it's their way to get people to get out and walk.

Garden Way was a very classy place, but it was $2,800 a month. Also, it was a little more distant from businesses. Residents would have to take shuttle buses to get to shopping centers and to businesses. The facility was modern and attractive. It appeared to have an excellent dining room.

Everything was wonderful at Garden Way. The staff was excellent. The woman was a very good listener. Their rooms/apartments were excellent too. There was nothing negative at all. It was wonderful. I haven't tried the food, but just looking at the menu, it looked like it was very fine dining. It was excellent, well-thought out, healthy food.

I had an excellent visit to Garden Way. They have fitness activities. They have a theater for movies. They provide three meals a day, and they have buses for day trips.

We liked Garden Way. The people that worked there are extraordinary. Our favorite is the dining hall because it was down to earth, and at the same time it was like a sit down in a regular restaurant. It wasn't a place where you had to be at a certain time. It was just a very comfortable place. I did check out the accommodations, and it was very nice. They had all the amenities we could ask for except a swimming pool.

I didn't care too much about Garden Way. It was okay and also the staff did the best they can but it's not something I wanted. The thing that bothers me the most is the fact that they don't have washer and dryers in the apartments. I think it's grossly unfair to have old people get dressed and walk down the hall to do their laundry.
