My Mother has been living here for three years and has been very happy. I can't say enough good things about the management team and the care staff. They have been wonderful communicating through Covid and always respond promptly and with compassion if you have any concerns regarding your loved one. They've created a really caring environment for the residents. I have so much respect and admiration for every single staff member as I've watched them work so hard on a daily basis to meet the needs of the residents. I can honestly say that the staff give their best and go above and beyond every single day. My Mother receives great care here and we feel lucky to have her living there.

Brookdale Beaverton was a very nice facility. The rooms were much nicer compared to other places. It was bright and cheery. The little town square thing they got going on when you walk in was adorable. The staff that I met during the tour seemed efficient and pleasant to work with. The residents seemed to be getting the things they needed. It was a completely lockdown facility, so you can't come and visit whenever you want. They don't accommodate families very well.

Brookdale Beaverton has been great, I like the place, they treat my mother well, and she's happy there. It's for memory care and she is getting lots of care there. The staff is caring and attentive. The rooms are nice and large, and they keep them clean. I haven't seen them but they play bingo and they have dancing and exercise stuff. She likes the food but I wasn't too crazy about the cake with no frosting. I think they're way too expensive and they need to improve their food. Also, I don't know how they can improve on that, but they lost my mom's teeth. She's only been there 2 weeks and they lost her teeth so I don't understand that.

I liked Brookdale Beaverton. It was very clean and the people living there were emotionally attached to the staff. They would beam when they walk into the room. That was a very high score place, but it's a drive. For the foreseeable future, being a frequent visitor, being close to my wife is my priority. We walked through the facility as a whole, then went to the memory care. It was a very nice facility and the people in there seemed very nice, very well dressed, and well cared for. They would come up and talk to the person that was giving me the tour. They recognized that person. It was good. They had both shared and individual rooms. They had nice arrangements in terms of privacy for the two people in shared rooms. It was a very nice facility with nice furnishings and nice decor. It's a very comfortable place to be. The staff was very friendly and very informative. I learned a lot from her. She did a great job. It's a beautiful place. They had a really beautiful outdoor area and the interior layout was quite spacious. There were a lot of people walking or in wheelchairs, but moving about, going from one place to another. I noticed a piano in the front lobby. They bring musicians in. There was a chalkboard that had activities including musical entertainment that week. I said hello to the activities director who was working in the room, bringing out activities for the residents.

With all my heart i hope that no one has to live in this facility. My father got horrible care and we watched as other residents did too. They are left to wonder around, no organized activities like they say, out of 77 days that my father was there, he only received 6 showers and those happened because i yelled enough or I did it myself. The food was horrible and non nutritious. 1/2 a hot dog with a small salad was the dinner one night. Laundry was never done. Clothes were always missing. They could never find things like his razor, glasses, hearing aides, etc. They would lock my dad's door and then he had no way of getting into his room to go to the bathroom. Even tried to work with the ombudsman, who just kept telling me they were "working on it". That must be what they teach them to say because they would always act concerned and say they would fix everything and then it never happened. Do not let your loved one in this facility!!

PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING BROOKDALE BEAVERTON: I recognize that when a family is facing the reality of needing residential Alzheimer & Dementia care, there is a lot of emotion and concern surrounding this decision. We didn’t “want” this, and it is overwhelming when you realize it is time to make this choice. We moved my aunt from another Brookdale community where she had lived in assisted living for 7 years. I wont go into specifics on that facility, but I will tell you that we were very unhappy with the lack of care for her there and were hesitant, if not almost totally resistant to continuing to have her in the Brookdale network. However, Brookdale Beaverton has turned out to be an exceptional facility for us. The routine that has been established for residents keeps the day moving, the facility is clean, the communication is clear, the dedicated staff is wonderful. And its furnished beautifully. We randomly drop by to visit, and have seen that it is consistent in its care. I appreciate the fact that the staff tries different ways to engage my aunt, who is non-verbal, and they dance and sing with her. They animate expression to her, and help her get through her day. She has a rare form of dementia, and I can say that she can often be a difficult person to care for. I have witnessed the staff members placed in very hard positions where she becomes defiant, even combative at times, and they handle these instances carefully and professionally. We are so grateful to the staff at Brookdale Beaverton for all of the efforts that they make on behalf of their residents and how they assess individual care. There are some basics that families need to accept when understanding these kind of environments. Things will go missing, because people “shop” around. Things disappear, things return. Thats how it goes. Not all the residents will like each other, and they are all in different states of being, while in the same location. It makes it interesting to witness, and I think the staff is absolutely amazing at being able to manage all of these different personalities and realities. Although we wish in our hearts that we could make my aunts condition improve, she is in a decline from which she will not recover. We are very comforted by the care she is receiving, and know that she feels safe and at home there. Thank you to all the staff, from the people cooking and cleaning, the care taking staff, activity directors, med desk, nurses, visiting doctors, and administrators. You have really made us feel like we are in the right place with you all. We don’t worry constantly. You let us know how she is doing, and offer suggestions for support. You are the voice for her that she does not have, and we could not be more grateful for the care you are providing for her. THANK YOU.

Brookdale Beaverton was very nice, very neat, and clean. The decor was absolutely adorable. It was like little shops in Paris or France. They had a movie going, and people were watching that. The rooms were very nice. The kitchen was nice and clean. The person who took us around was very nice and very accommodating.

My relative with Alzheimer's lived here for 1 1/2 years. At first it was probably a good facility for her because she was exit-seeking, and it was a secure building. They have a pretty predictable schedule which was also good. However, they didn't work very well with keeping her hearing aids available (expensive ones were lost or sent through the wash or simply not put in her ears when they were supposed to be). The staff has so much turn over that she didn't really get to establish a relationship with the day-to-day workers there, and they seemed to struggle to keep her clean or monitor her after a fall where she hit her head and badly hurt her knee (they sent her in an ambulance to the hospital more than 15 hours after she fell). But there were two last straws. The first was the way the base rate cost for monthly rate went up dramatically twice within 6 months, theoretically for "remodeling," which seemed to result in taking down outdated wallpaper. The second problem, and the one that galls me even more, was how her belongings just kept disappearing. Nicknacks and decorative items that I had brought from her home disappeared. Clothes disappeared. Her bed mysteriously had no sheets. Worst of all, very personalized gifts simply disappeared (including but not limited to two shutterfly photo books I made for her of her family history and a photo blanket). I have complained numerous times about the loss of these personal items and have begged for them to look for these items in the facility (which isn't that big), but I all I seemed to get in response was lip service. I've tried to be nice about this, but I've never gotten as much as an apology. Now that she has been moved to another facility they are even less inclined to care about finding these things.

We chose Brookdale Beaverton because they give much more attention to their residents, and are more kind and caring. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly. My dad’s room is pretty large with a large bathroom, a nice-sized closet, and very nice windows that look out onto the grounds of the facility. The food seemed fine, nothing luxurious but wholesome, good food. They have church services, live entertainment, crafts, and games, like bowling.

I liked Brookdale. I thought it was really nice. My mom had a very rare condition, but they were familiar with it and I liked that. The staff was friendly and very much engaged with the residents. When I walked in, a lot of the residents were out doing different activities. They had four or five different things going on.

I thought that Clare Bridge was a lovely facility. We had lunch there, and I was able to taste some of the food. The gal who showed us around was very personable, and from what I could tell, all the residents loved her. I didn't actually see a room there, but the rest of the facility was really nice. It was kind of unique because it was like a little town hall. When you first walked in, they had an area where people had benches and stuff. All of the offices looked like shops. So it looked like a little village, and it was kind of cool. I didn't see anything that wasn't in really in good shape.

The people are nice but not very capable of keeping residents safe - I am heading to the hospital now to see my loved one who apparently has a broken hip due to his 3rd fall in his first month in their care!!! Absolutely unacceptable. I encourage caution as you consider this facility.

Clare Bridge of Beaverton is a care facility that focuses their care towards seniors with Alzheimer's or other illnesses involving dementia. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, letting me conduct interviews and gave me a tour of the facility. The facility itself is designed to allow personal space and independence, while still providing security and safe measures for the seniors. There are also plenty of activities for the seniors to participate in. For how depressing a assistant living facility can be, this one was full of very positive upbeat people working on the staff.

My experience with this assisted living provider was not one that I see positively or want to remember for that long. The amenities in the lobby, dining room and individual rooms seemed outdated and it looked like anything creative or unique was stripped from the residents. All the rooms looked frighteningly similar. The staff at the front desk was just sitting there reading the newspaper and magazines while all of the residents were sitting in silence watching a movie. Nobody seemed to be taking care of them and the mood just seemed depressing. I figured a place like this would bring motivation and optimism to the residents but it seemed like just a cold environment on the outside regardless of the exterior beauty.

Beautiful facility, clean, lot of activities, many caregivers, RNs onsite for 2 out of 3 shifts. However, this facility is strictly "private pay". They do not accept Medicaid, even if you have been private pay for a number of years. Can't risk having to move my loved one to a different facility if our long-term care insurance runs out.
