My mom is a resident of Asher Point Independent Living of Tulsa. I would like to live with her, but I can't. I don't think I can afford it. I've been there a couple of times, and I just go and eat lunch with her sometimes. It's good. It's a nice place. They're very good to her. I like it. She's only been there a little over a year or so, and the staff members are very nice. At first, I didn't care for the lady in the office. She was kind of snooty and acted like she didn't want to do anything. They had so many complaints about her that they got rid of her and put somebody else in there. The food is good. They have a lot of chairs that people can sit outside, but they were never kept clean. They were dusty and there were cobwebs on them. When it's nice, it's nice and warm to sit out and sit in their rockers. I love them because they're nice and big rockers. But they're taking better care of them now. So now the facilities are good. Regarding activities, they have somebody coming by and taking them to the store when they need to. It's not the Taj Mahal. It's nice and clean, but they need to do something about the meals. They need to put special or something different on the menu once in a while. If my mom needs anything, I go and take her. Once a month, they have a birthday party for whoever's birthday is in that month. They get to go down and eat cake and ice cream and talk to people. They're going to have a Halloween party down there, but my mom doesn't care for Halloween at all. She says it's a pagan holiday, and she doesn't go down there.

My mother has been there for a month now. She is in independent living with hospice care. It's a very nice community. People are positive and helpful. She has very nice accommodation. Her room is clean and spacious. With regards to the dining area, there's adequate seating, fresh water, and the tables are well-presented.

It feels clean and homey. Mom's apartment is also clean. Her bedroom is a lot larger than I expected. It's got a nice bathroom and a nice little patio. Her main reason for going to that place was she had a puppy and she wanted a door to let her puppy out and then there's a little fence up for him. They have live music, bingo, games, and last Tuesday they had a luau. The dining area looked nice, too. They offered me a lemonade and it was delicious. The staff is helpful.

It is a nice, large facility, two stories at least. It has numerous rooms. There's a two-story open area where you can look down on the people below you as you walk along the top. It has numerous meeting rooms along the way, and the activity rooms have ample space. The dining facility looked good. I thought the rooms were nice, too. They have a few covered parking spots

It was nice. I've only spoken to one lady and I figured that might be because it was a holiday, so there were probably a lot of people who were off. It's a decent property, but it's not for my mom. Nothing's wrong with it all. I just didn't get that vibe, but they were very friendly and welcoming. They answered all my questions and asked about my mom and all that stuff. So, it was great. They have a little balcony where the residents could walk out of their rooms onto. I liked that. That was pretty nice. The dining room was also nice. It was kind of set up with little tables. It seemed like all the residents were really sweet and happy. The facility was clean. They have a beauty/barber shop and a little library that's like a sitting room where you could watch TV or play a game of pool.

I am choosing here for myself. It was very nice and very clean, and the atmosphere felt very good. I like it there. My daughter wanted me there because she knows that I'm safe. The staff was very nice to me. They were great. The apartments were nice. It's located in a good area. There's a park across the street and I can go over there and walk sometimes. They have exercise programs, and they take you out to Walmart on a bus.

My parents and I toured and they liked the openness and the brightness of the facility. The layout was pretty simple. There's one hallway, the elevator, and downstairs into the big dining room to eat. It's just easy to get around in. The staff seemed very nice. The two-bedroom, two-bath was also nice. Cleanliness was OK, but maybe the carpet needed to be replaced in the halls. My father and I had breakfast there, while my mom and my sister had lunch, and everybody liked the food.

I was with Tanya yesterday in the independent living, and she was very, very nice, and very helpful. I'm limited in how far I can walk so she put me in a wheelchair and took me all over. They have extensive facilities and anything that you could want. They also have a very nice dining room, a home health care place, and a physical therapy place. She was very, very kind, very nice, and I had a nice time visiting with her. The apartment was just what you would typically find in other places but it was very clean and it had a nice little balcony. To me, that was a plus. They had a variety of rooms to offer but right now, they only have 3 openings opened. They're all just like the one I saw yesterday, the 1-bedroom. They have a larger 1-bedroom and then a studio, but they don't have anything available right now. It was very, very quiet yesterday. There wasn't anybody doing anything. They had just finished lunch, and I think people were probably in their rooms recuperating from lunch. I saw some people, but not a lot, and they didn't have any scheduled activities at that time. She just showed me some ladies that play cards and they had a nice area that had a lot of books. If you wanted to read, you could go do that. They had a big, beautiful area down the middle of the lobby that had performers that come in and sing and entertain people. She told me all the amazing things that they did every single month.

I will be moving in here. It's just the most wonderful feeling when you walk in the front door, and all the people are just so friendly, helpful, and happy to see you. It's a lovely place. I even spoke to one of the ladies who lived there, and she said, "We all love it. Don't just take my word, ask anybody." I had lunch one day, and it was really good. I enjoyed it. No complaints there at all. The one-bedroom, which is what I've rented, is very spacious for a one-bedroom. I really liked it. Even the one I'm getting has a balcony. I am from the South, and so I love southern plantations, and that's what it reminds me of, the exterior. The dining area was nice. It's so clean, and it has a nice fresh odor when you come in the front door. It's just ideal, I love it. I was there during the lunch hour. I can't say enough about the facility.

I visited and it was very bright, cheerful, beautiful and clean. They have three meals a day. They have care around the clock. Security is all very important to me and my mother as well. The rooms are very pretty, and it felt very friendly. She liked it. We only met one person, but she was great.

We went here. They offered three meals a day. It was nothing more than an apartment house with a few little things in there, like a beauty salon. It wasn't anything special, but for what it was, it was a good place. The rooms were good, they were a good size. The residents were doing pretty well. They were all walking around by themselves. A few people used the walkers and some people had oxygen. That was one reason why my granddaughter didn't think we belonged there. They had organized activities. They had where they took a bus, and you could go on a trip somewhere.

I visited and it was fine. The staff was really helpful, they showed us around and it was a nice place. Everything was clean. Inside the room, they got a small refrigerator and a microwave. They didn't have bathtubs, they just take showers.

My sister liked it, except she doesn't like it that they have no security at night. They were very well taken care of, there were a lot of staff in the dining room, and the food is really good. She likes that they are very active, they play games, and they are very nice. She likes her room, she likes having a walk-in shower, it's very clean, and she's very comfortable there. It bothers her that there is no security at night. The facility is very old, it only has 2 small elevators, but the activities are good.

I like it and the room I saw was on the first floor, which was nice. I would have preferred that because I had a little dog and I can bring my dog with me. Everybody was nice. They showed me the dining room. The person who showed me around was very nice.

The facility and its rooms were very nice. They had a small kitchen area and living area. The staff was excellent. They had bingo night and cards on the list of activities. The dining area was good, large, and very clean with plenty of room for everybody there. The food was good.

People who lived here didn't seem too friendly. It had a decent amount of activities but I don't think there were many people who participated in them. The rooms were nice. The dining area was nice and clean. The staff member who gave us the tour was nice and friendly.

My mom is going to be moving in this week. We were very impressed. It’s clean and quiet. They serve three meals a day and have lots of different activities going on all the time. I know that they have a gym, library, and games. The staff was very nice.

I was very pleased and impressed. I thought the community was very nice and clean. The people were very friendly, and the apartments were nice, so I enjoyed the visit. The apartments had more of a dorm-style kitchen with just a toaster, oven, and a microwave. We had a meal there, and the food was very nice. It was a beautiful setting and was close to the river. I thought the grounds were nice.

My visit was good. They didn’t have a two-bedroom available, but she did show us some that were nice. They were helpful, answered any questions, and gave us some materials to read at home because we asked for it that way.

I like that they provide three meals a day, and the food is very nice. The staff is very attentive and seem to know everybody by first name. My room is small, but I am comfortable in it. We have a lot of activities here.

We just weren’t all that impressed. It didn’t have cottages or covered parking. It was nice, had a pretty nice view and all, but it just wasn’t what we were looking for. We weren’t impressed with the food. We’ve been there twice and ate there once, and we weren’t that impressed with it.

It is a very nice, open, and airy facility with a great view of the Arkansas River. The facility is easy to access from the main road. Dad likes living there. They have entertainment quite often, bingo, card games, and a lot of other activities.

The rooms were bigger than the other places I visited; you wouldn’t get claustrophobic. The facility was very good. The staff were very nice. This facility is very nice, and this is the best I have seen.

The staff is excellent. They are probably the best I have ever seen. It is so clean. There is no smell. It is a happy place. There is a lot of light, and it is very open. I like the fact that their managers live on site. They are always accessible.

They were very accommodating and very professional. Overall, I would probably rate it a six out of five. Everyone was very caring. The rooms were clean and organized. The people were very nice. It was lunchtime during my visit, and everybody was eating some really nice-looking food.

We looked here, and it was really nice, but it was not in a good neighborhood. It was closer to some other housing. That would be the only negative I would say about it. There was a park across the street from it which was kind of nice.

My sister has been here for about four months now. It is a very nice place and the facilities are all really nice, but she is not too happy with the food. It is not that there is anything wrong with it, but she has worked in food service all of her life so she is pretty picky, I guess. All the people that live there are fairly happy with it, she is just not. Her room is like a little apartment with a bedroom, a not really nice bathroom, a living room, and something like a kitchenette. The staff members are accommodating and helpful, they check on her, and they actually go in to do some housekeeping for her. It is a really nice place. They have an exercise room, they take them to Walmart when they want to go, and they do have group things for the residents to do.

My sister is in here, and she's doing just fine. It is a really nice place. The location is great. It is right next to a river. She has an apartment there with a bedroom, a living room, and a kitchenette. She has a door that goes out onto a patio. They have a big dining room. They provide the meals, but she doesn't like the food much. The sanitation is great. They come in and clean, I don't know, once or twice a week, and they do the laundry.

I have no complaints other than it's not a good fit. It's way across town from me and I wouldn't be able to get to my dad as often. It's more like a home inside; it has a full kitchen, a living room, bathroom and bedroom. It makes it a more pleasant place to stay.

This is mom's first choice. She loves the staff. They assist her with anything she needs. She loves the people there. She fits in really well in the community. They have activities for her. In fact, it is field-trip day today and they're going out for lunch. She loves her room. She had it decorated just the way she wanted it. She took the things that meant to her the most and they made sure they have rooms for them. She's really happy there. They have a garden and a patio and she loves both of those. She just feels at home in this community.
