My mother is living at The Regency Skilled Nursing and Therapy. There have been a few little glitches, but for the most part it's been good. It's been better than the last couple that she's been in over the years and she loves the food, and that's a plus. In the beginning we could do visits through the window, then they opened it up where you could schedule a visit and they had a time, and it was in the chapel. However, the county went in the red as far as COVID cases go, so they shut that down again and there are no visits now. Their staff has been good for the most part. I hadn't had any issues in particular with any of the staff. They're all way overpriced, but I also know they require a lot of care. She's not happy with her bed, and they said they don't have any other beds. She does not have a chair, so she's either in bed or in her wheelchair. We're trying to figure out how to make arrangements to take her chair to her from home.

My mother is currently in the skilled care at Rose Manor. Everyone has been so nice and kind to her. They have taken care of her every need and are nursing her back to health, -mentally, physically, and emotionally. They are doing as their shirts say- "nursing with dignity."

I visited Rose Manor. It is closer to our house. I don't know much about it, but basing on the visit, it seemed very nice for my grandmother. It was clean and modern. The staff was very friendly, courteous and seemed to know what they were doing.
