My husband moved to Shawnee Memory Care. It's very clean and very nice. The staff seems very caring to my husband. So, we're happy with it. There are several activities. They have music, and they have just various activities for most of the patients to keep them engaged and occupied as for those capable of doing a variety of different things. They have good meals, and they go to a dining room. So there's a lot of opportunity for them to be around others. The food was very good. They were less expensive than some of the standard nursing homes.

The amenities and conveniences were designed with seniors' unique needs in mind, enhancing residents' lifestyles and allowing the freedom to enjoy life.
Safety features such as low-pile carpeting and non-slip flooring can be found in many areas of the community. The building was specifically designed with a designated storm shelter providing a safe and protected environment.
Entrances, hallways and common areas are monitored by close circuit television camera.
Our community is secured with delayed egress doors which will allow caregivers and team to be notified if a resident exits without an escort.
Our residents become like family to us, therefore we designed our community to have the feeling of home where residents may enjoy time with their children, posterity and friends.
Our Private Dining Room enables residents to enjoy family meals and private celebrations. Multi-generational activities will encourage guests of all ages to experience and celebrate family life.

My wife and I toured the facility and did not even need an appt. Everyone was so kind and the facility is so clean and you can tell it has an amazing team and management team.

My mother-in-law has moved into Shawnee Memory Care. What I liked best is the combination of its high-quality care as any other place I've visited, but with a much lower starting price. The nursing staff and the administrator seemed very caring. My mother-in-law's room is very nice. It was also fully furnished, which is interesting, and very different from any other place where you had to bring your own furniture. There was an activities area. There was a pretty nice courtyard to go outside, and it was all secured. The main areas just seem very nice.

My father moved here. I think that they are very caring. I think they accept each patient with each of their needs that are met and try to make sure the family feels comfortable knowing that their family members are each important. The staff is very warm and friendly. I just know that my father is in good hands and it has given me peace of mind. They do different activities, they might have bingo, or they might do kickball because most of them can't just stand up and kick back from their chairs trying to kick them. They do arts and crafts. They have a social hour where they get together. They've done bowling, which I'm sure is not typical bowling, but bowling. So they have different activities daily. His room is very clean any time and there's been some kind of accident, due to not being able to control bodily functions, things are cleaned up immediately. Very well. Very tidy. Very clean.

My wife has been here for the last two to three years. The rooms are sufficient. They offer just memory care, and I would recommend them to anybody. They offer a variety of activities and try to keep the residents occupied. The facility is nice.

Everything about them is awesome; lots of staff, and the caregiver and the nursing staff are wonderful. They document everything, and if you have a question, they know everything. It’s really wonderful. I can be out of town not to worry about my mother there.

My mother is here now. I will recommend it to others. Her room is very nice. They have very good food. They have happy hour, and they have field trips.
