I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

Just be diligent at looking after your loved one because the staff here lies about the care given and does not watch your loved ones as they should. Loved ones are left for hours in their room without being checked on. Food is left by the loved one who can not feed themselves and therefore miss eating.

I am/was a resident of this facility

The aids lie about the care they provide. the food is skimpy to the residents, but yet the staff are given BIG styrafoam containers bursting withe the food that should go to the residents. Accortding to the state guidelines there are supposed to sacks ready and available to the residents between meals and after dinner. A lot of the time there isnt. And whe the aids are asked about it the residents are told there isnt any, or they dont know its not their hall to work, or to come to the nurses desk and get it. Some residents who cant do for themselves are told to get up and to the toilet, when they are in a wheelchair and cant even walk!! Or there is coffee made, but unless the resident gets it for themselves they are given a very small cup, "to make sure there is enough to go around". When others are walking around, or rolling around in wheelchairs with large styrafoam cups of coffee. the aids make fun of the residents, and at times when the call light is on its hours before they are found. They never let the nurse know if the resident needs to see them, and if the nurse is busy, no one has the decency to let the resdent know that the nurse wont be there. The rooms are basicly clean, there is nothing for the residents to do except listen to what ever the staff puts on the TV in the TV room, or stay in their room and do what ever. The aids cme into the residents rooms and use their toiletries, (soap, loation, ect.) when the resident is asleep or not in the room.
