My mother has been at Ignite twice. Both times her rooms were lovely. The staff was great: Jennifer, Tiffany & Whitney. Along with the PT & OT. My mom is very social and she was excited and extremely happy with the OT exercises that were fun. Also, bingo, etc. She loved the food and is very fond of her nurses and aides. I was always informed of any improvements or setbacks. I would refer anyone needing rehab care to use this group.

In Visiting This Facility, I have found all of the people acting nice to me and in our general talks. They All Showed Courteousness, even the lady who pushed me into Signing In to visit my wife when I didn't want to be bothered with signing in. She was only doing her job and I signed in. I see the need. What I don't like is: At this MOMENT, at the time of This Posting (OCT. 29, 2023), THE TEMPERATURE "IS VERY COLD IN THE HALLS AND ROOMS Because The HEATING SYSTEM IS NOT OPERATING EFFICIENTLY For The COMFORT of The Residents and Employees. The Employees have been very good to my wife. I can't say for the others. The Overall Interior of the Building makes me think of it being a 1960s Theme. My Reason for This Posting Is The TEMPERATURE Is Not to my Thinking It Should Be at this time. The ACTIVITIES have been less of a Concern at This Moment. But, My Wife , has been Cooperating as much as physically possible. SOMEONE DO SOMETING ABOUT TEMPERATURES IN THE BUILDING for All The People.

I received no services from Ignite Medical Resort OKC. Yet I receive a bill for $113.09 from Pharmcare USA for medicine is supposedly received. Here is what happened: I was referred there only to be left in a wheelchair, in a dismal basement room with only an unmade bed. I was left there unattended for an hour. They must have gotten my medication list from the hospital. I received no services. They made no attempt to even admit me to the facility. While in the room no one seemed to know I was there until a CMA making her rounds walked by the door and ask who I was. There was no way I could stay in that place.. When my wife came, she took me home. There was no way she was going to let me stay in that dump.

I can't wait to get my mom out of Ignite Medical Resort OKC. It's horrible. She has gone downhill so much in the last two weeks. When we left the heart hospital, she was walking on her own and doing very well. And now, she barely has the strength to walk. They spent way too much money on the entryway, the front end with a Starbucks and are not taking care of the building at all. They need to fix the small things in the rooms. Mom had one of the main light bulbs in the ceiling burned out when we moved in, and I mentioned it, and it still hasn't been fixed. The phone jack was torn off the wall and they still haven't fixed it. The knob for the temperature control on the heat in there is missing. That's not been fixed. If they would take care of the small things to start with, then they can go to the bigger things. The food is really good. They have very few activities, but when you go in, they tell you, they're not there to entertain people, they're there for therapy and getting fit. They have a salon, but the lady Is very expensive, and not very good with anything. The therapy room seems wonderful. It's large, and nobody's crowded when they're doing their therapy. It's just Mom's not getting very good therapy. She can't get up and walk across the room now. Their parking is horrendous. They have students come in there sometimes and all the workers and the students take the parking up close, and I have to park across Portland four Lane Highway in another parking lot.

Ignite medical resorts is a horrible place to leave your loved ones in the care of. My Dad just recently passed away with no warning or communications with our family that he needed to be transferred to a hospital. Obviously he sat in that place suffering. Once we came to see my Dad after he passed away there was No expressions of condolences towards us by anyone in administration or anyone on the staff. We had to go hunt a nurse down to find out what happened.

They did wonders for me! Everyone in this place is nice. Regan, Bev, Whitney, Cassandra, Madison, and Tina were great.

There has been clear lacking in communication and care at this facility. It is even questionable if they have even provided the correct rehabilitation treatment for my 96 year old grandmother. She was improving post op, then had a fall on a Friday, supposedly was not even properly communicated and only did an X-ray which is not detailed or accurate enough imaging after a fall! Her ortho was not contacted either. She has now since me having a fit about the lack of care and concern been back to the hospital for CT. But it took 5 days and me being 500+ miles away to make something happen. She should have been taken to confirm X-ray through CT days ago. At this point I would no recommend this place. The fall was not even reported by the nurse who picked her up off the floor. Unacceptable.

My mother is in Ignite Medical Resort OKC. Our overall experience has been very good. They have very caring staff. They have an activities director. They have a patient liaison, who is there to assist with any problems you have. All the nursing assistants have been very nice and caring. The facilities are very clean, and my mother likes it. The room is quiet. She doesn't hear a lot of outside noise. She's there for rehab. They have activities. She just got there last week with COVID, so she's been in isolation. She hasn't been able to participate in anything yet. She loves the food, and they have an alternate menu. If you don't like what's on the menu, you can actually order something else. The food has been very good. They have a music therapist, and that is besides the physical therapy.

Really nice facility! Mom loved their Andago machine. Therapy AMAZING! My Mom discharged back to her ALF and the wound that wasn't healing with them, healed with Ignite. Thank you so incredibly much for taking such amazing care of her. The whole process was perfect and really appreciate all the managers. I always felt welcome to come up and see my Mom and wants to go back. Only complaint is they need to have long term care. Also huge thanks to Matthew who brought my Mom a wall charger and made her feel like she was his Mom as well. Would highly recommend!!! Thank you all, Dawn

Enjoyed my stay here, the staff was excellent, Hollie was really nice. I enjoyed the activities girl stopping by multiple times to talk to me and the games she had upstairs. Also really enjoyed playing games with speech therapy. The staff here is really friendly.

My Grandma admitted to Ignite Medical in OKC from Baptist. The staff was absolutely amazing! Did everything go perfect? Of course not but their hospitality team and managers listened to every concern and immediately addressed my worries. I would never send a family member anywhere else. Food was great and the staff truly cared for my Grandma. I hope she never has to go back to the hospital but if she does she will go to Ignite after to get stronger. Amazing therapy team as well.

Ignite Medical Resort has some nice staff. However, the primary nurse my loved one had did the minimal to care for my relative. It seemed staff at the nursing station were not attentive unless family asked for help. In other words, if our relative asked, they would not assist as readily as they could. The physician did not notice or address some significant medical issues even after sharing our concerns. My family member ended up getting too dehydrated to benefit from rehab and became very week. We decided to move our family member to a different skilled nursing rehabilitation center because we were concerned about health and safety.

BEWARE BEWARE My wife was an inmate at this facility for about 6 weeks. The care is mediocre at best. At night and on weekends it is non existent. I spent a night trying to sleep in a chair to see what it was like. Sleep is impossible! the staff yells at each other in the hall. Call lights are ignored because the staff is at the Nurses Station eating. I was told that my insurance was paying the TOTAL BILL.

This fine RESORT just about killed my grandmother. She was discharged for not making any therapy progress. From ignite we took her to the ER & turns out she’s septic. She fell out of bed a few nights ago. They didn’t send her to get evaluated. Didn’t even call until the next day. Read the reviews, they’re true. I wouldn’t even put a dog in this facility. She’s been there for weeks to rehabilitate. Another week & she would have been dead to due negligence! Instead of saying the patient refuses anything & everything, get to the bottom of it instead of painting over your lies. Fell out of bed twice & sprained her ankle as soon as she got there

My husband could not eat most of the meals. How is he to recuperate and gain strength to come home without edible food? The doctor comes once a week and is reluctant to order the tests necessary so EMSA must take him to the emergency room where he was readmitted to the hospital for necessary procedures. Think twice!

We got my grandmother out of this facility today. Enough was just finally enough. She broke her hip last week and was sent to this rehab facility to do some PT and get her walking. My mother and aunt stayed with her every night, and it's a good thing they did because the level of care is severly lacking here. Don't get me wrong we experienced nice nurses and caring staff, but unfotunately all those who couldn't take the time to do their jobs over shadowed the few. The final straw was my grandmother not being given a both in almost 3 days (not even a sponge bath), no one changed her dressing on her bed sore for over a day which was requested multiple times, we requested her pain medicine and had to wait hours for her to finally receive it, we requested a nurse come to help move her from the wheel chair into bed because she was ready to sleep (and she can't move alone with the broken hip) we had to ask 3 times and it took 2 hours for someone to finally come. There were 3 nurses sitting chatting it up and texting that could of come but didn't care to be bothered with the task. I could honestly go on forever. The wound care hurt her loading her back into bed the 2nd day the just dropped her on the bed instead of gently placing down. She was screaming and crying and they just walked out without even a simple are you okay or we are sorry you're in pain. My grandma is 92 years old and has a broken hip. If you can't muster up an ounce of compassion you are in the wrong profession. I would not recommend this facility at all, which is unfortanate for the few that did a great job.

It would be difficult to overstate our disappointment in this facility. My mother was admitted last week and had the following experience: 1) Was ignored for approximately 3 hours from the time she was taken to her room. 2) Was not provided lunch during her first day. 3) Dinner that night was to be Chicken Cordon Bleu - my mother waited a long time for it to arrive and when it did, it was 2 pieces of dry bread and a slice of ham. 4) The person who finally delivered lunch was covered in dirt - looked like he was possibly the facility's gardener. 5) The sheets had holes in them. On the other hand... we have heard the facility has excellent physical therapy staff, but we can't confirm this because my father was so appalled by her experience that he checked her out of the facility first thing the following morning. Thank goodness we had paid for a private nurse to stay with my mother throughout her one night at Ignite... I'm not sure that the staff would have been available had she needed anything.

For the most part our experience was a good experience. The rooms are large which makes it easier for the patients to get around whether in a wheelchair or using a walker. Jawaun was especially helpful at navigating us to the right people when we needed something. She would answer what questions we had and if she didn't have the answer she found the right person for us to talk to. She returned calls and such in a reasonably timely matter considering how busy she was. The nurses were very nice when would call to check on our relative. Sometimes we would have to call back and wait 15min - 20min for them to come to the phone but under the circumstances it was understandable to a point. My opinion is just that my opinion other family members do have a different opinion on some level of care. Sometimes it would take a few calls to get the main phone line answered when we would call in. The D.O.N. sometimes took a couple of days to return phone calls. Covid has made it difficult at best to handle the care of patients and also their family members who are unable to see their relative besides through a window.

My mom was a patient while they had a Covid outbreak and she contracted the virus. I pulled her out because I wasn't confident in the care she was getting and now they're sending her a bill.

I am 76 and had severe Covid-19 - was in ICU and on a vent for 2 1/2 weeks at Baptist. After over three weeks at Baptist I was transferred to Parcway for rehab and spent 7 weeks there learning how to walk and care for myself. While the food was OK and most of the staff attentive I would not have been able to return home and continue to regain my strength if it had not been for the excellent rehab staff members - Crys L. in rehab and all of the others who helped me walk again. My gratitude to all of those at Ignite who cared for me and helped me get back on my feet. I would recommend this facility who are doing a very difficult job under very difficult circumstances. Blessings to you all.

Like other reviews, the outside and early contact with facility was great and then within 24 hours the true colors of the facility was apparent. Yes there are a few good things (fresh & variety of meal choices, the physical therapists, cleaning crew and few and I mean few med staff) but these few things are completely overshadowed by all the other issues (too many to list but at the top of list is the dr on staff - unprofessional, rude, lacks empathy and has very little concern for patients)!

I have had a friend and relative in parkway. Currently my sister is receiving physical therapy due to double amputation. She's been in the facility since October 2016 and has received excellent care. I visit my sister regularly and have only witnessed kind, caring, compassionate workers. My friend had the same experience as I often visited with her all day long. I would certainly recommend Parkview to any of my friends and relatives.

My father is in Parcway because he fell and broke two ribs. The place itself is nice. I have a few issues with the staff, and I do not care for their doctor. The rooms are nice. The food is good. You have a menu to pick from with a great variety. What I like best about it is that it is very close to where I am.
