Staff nice The equipment is old and broken down. My bed is too painful to rest in after surgery so I had to move to a chair over 15 hours ago. No word on when I can have a bed. I have been waiting on a med all night and all day.

My husband was in Epworth Villa Health Services. When he was there, they were very caring for him. They made sure they kept me informed. They provided excellent help for him and the physical therapy that he needed and they were always informed every time I called out there and asked a question. My sister-in-law placed her mother at Epworth. I placed mine at 2 other spots over several years so I had a comparison. Epworth was sadly lacking in their care. The mother just passed away but I am so glad I didn’t place MY mother there. There was constant turn over in the staff. Staff would not call back, they would not answer the phone. My wife will be moving into Epworth Villa Health Services. It's very high quality, and it's the best in the area. The staff has been very helpful, and the meals are extremely good. They have dining areas in each patient area, and they have high-level restaurants within the facility. The residents in the nursing home have to pay to go to one of those higher level restaurants, but the assisted living residents do not. They have many activities. I have friends that have had husbands and wives in Epworth Villa and we have a friend there that has been very satisfied. I've only been in their skilled nursing facility. The residents seemed to be well cared for and seemed to be happy. It was much brighter and newer than other places I've seen and had a much lighter feeling. My mother was a patient at the skilled Nursing center for almost 4 weeks. She received excellent care. The facility was beautifully decorated and made her feel like home. The food was amazing. The safety and security was top of the line. The nursing staff were wonderful as were the nursing assistants. They staff always had time to talk with us. I would give them 5 stars.
