Problems from day one. My mother who could not swallow was given ice water twice in the first week that we witnessed. That could have killed her. About 3 weeks in I stopped by for a visit only to find mother laying in urine soaked clothes and bed. Her personal belongings disappeared frequently. The CNA's were useless and frequently took 30 minutes to answer the call button. Nurses made it clear that it was not their job to help patients go to the bathroom. Mom had a bad fall there and was rushed to hospital. Mom contracted several infections during her 8 week stay including UTI's and pneumonia. After 8 weeks instead of recovering, she went back into the hospital in worse shape than before. I could go on and on with the mistakes and lack of care and incompetency I saw there but I hope you get the picture. I would never take a loved one there again.
