The staff and the aides are exceptional at what they do. The staff is always in good spirits and genuinely seem to care about the residents. The residents are happy to be there. My grandmother says she feels like she is at home and very well taken care of. The food there is phenomenal and the dining area is always immaculate. Chef Chris always makes a point to create a warm and welcoming experience. I would definitely recommend Mallard Cove for your family.

We toured Charter Senior Living of Mallard Cove. We were not happy with it. They are desperately looking for people. They were offering a lot of bonuses, but the place needed a lot of work. It was cold. It was at least a third empty, which makes me think that they're not up to par, and they're having trouble getting people moving in there. The woman who gave us a tour was very nice, but it didn't feel welcoming. It didn't feel warm, and it didn't feel comfortable. The layout of the room was very strange, and it would not have worked for us the way they showed it to us. One of the bedrooms was extremely small, and we looked around and realized, no, this was not going to fit us. It wasn't what I expected.

I like the layout of Mallard Cove Senior Living. I also like the proximity to where we live right now. We find it appealing. We got there a little before noon. We were not scheduled to dine, so we just went on a tour. We saw some of the apartments that had just been refurbished, and they looked very nice and adequate. I'm not sure about the washer and dryer, but the other appliances were there. The meals are included. The kitchens looked small, but very adequate. They have a little walking path around the lake, if you like the lake. The fact that they had nursing facility close by is very nice. The person who took me around seemed to know her stuff. She was knowledgeable. Everything looked up to snuff to me.

My aunt almost lived at Mallard Cove Senior Living. It was a nice facility. It provided three meals a day whereas some of the other ones only did one or two. She looked at available apartments there whereas some of the other facilities only showed us, models. She looked at three apartments there. The apartment she looked at actually had laundry in the room, which was a perk. The one thing that I liked about this facility compared to the other facilities was that, should her level of care increase and should she need assisted living, she would not have had to move apartments, she would just have to change rooms. The only thing that held them back, is they only had a balcony, and she wanted a patio. She had put money down to move in there and then changed her mind and moved into another facility instead mainly because of the patio. They provided three meals a day and they had a lot of different things that they did there in terms of happy hour and bingo. The staff was friendly. When we walked in, everybody was nice. It's a nice facility.

We chose Mallard Cove Senior Living for my mother because it's very nice and convenient. Everyone seemed happy when we visited. The staff was very nice and competent, willing to help me with anything, and it will be an easy transition. The food was good and the dining room was pretty. They had an outdoor eating area, a theater, exercise facility, a happy hour every night, church services, and field trips.

I liked Mallard Cove, it had a lot to offer, and I talked to the staff several times over the phone after the tour. The area was so-so but acceptable. You got your meals, they did your housekeeping, and they even get your laundry. The rooms seemed really nice.

I’ve been to Mallard Cove for a visit and loved it. This is the place where we would love to put my father, so we are trying to convince my mother to go. The staff is great. The assisted living space is wonderful and makes you feel that you are at home and not in a hospital room. The dining room and common room is great. Their gym is nice. They have movies, take them out on outings, have mass, and do games and bingo. They also have happy hour at 4:00. I was very impressed with it. Overall, it’s a very nice place.

We did visit Mallard Cove for my mother and we were able to put her in there. We love the place, it's wonderful. The apartments are nice and the dining room is really wonderful. The food is like eating in a restaurant. They have all kinds of activities. They have bingo, Yoga, bible study, and a church on Wednesday night. They also have movies. We are really impressed with the staff and the facility is great.
