Vista Veranda has a friendly atmosphere with friendly employees and residents. The whole place is clean, and the dining room is set up very nicely. My mom's room was also set up very nicely. She is in their memory care unit. They do crafts activities just to get motivation and a little bit of body coordination stuff. They also have field trips, so they take some of the residents out. Last week they went to Cracker Barrel restaurant. A couple of weeks ago, they went to Cleveland Science Center. The residents have to pay for field trips. She hasn't gone on anything, but they do offer that. It could be a little bit cheaper, but I know everything takes money; I think it's kind of fair.

My tour of Vista Veranda went very well. I like it very much. My mom and I both felt that the staff were very attentive, very kind and very friendly, and willing to explain everything very thoroughly. I thought the rooms were beautiful. We saw what they referred to as a large room and a smaller room. There are big open spaces and bathrooms with walk-in showers. I appreciated all the bars that were located in the bathroom or even walking down the hallway. My mom uses a cane so she could use her left hand to hold on to the bar and use her cane on her right hand. They have a beautiful dining area. The menu is posted on the board. It was explained to my mom how she would fill out what she wants for her meal the next day. They offer choices as well. The grounds are very nice. They have a nice patio on the back where the residents and family members can sit when the weather is nice. They have rockers on the front porch. That does, unfortunately, face the parking lot, but at least there are chairs out there where they can sit. Some resident were individually reading up and playing cards, and then they also had bingo when we were there. We met the activities director. They have a calendar of events. Each month they have one family night, and the family night this month is watching an Elvis movie and having popcorn. They have a physical therapy room, and they have a physical therapist on staff. They have a salon and a pantry, too.

I went to visit Vista Veranda. They showed us the lunchroom area and the general living area where the TV and chairs are for all the residents to socialize together. They showed me an example of one of the apartment rooms there that had the living space and bathroom for the individual resident. We basically had one of the head nurses interview my dad just to do an evaluation on him and what his level of need was. That was pretty much the tour. The staff was very polite, very nice, and very informative. I thought it had a very good layout. The memory care unit had locked doors and I thought it was clean and it was nice. We wanted to go there, but for whatever reason they didn't want him there. They have private rooms, they have varied menus, and they have an activity calendar for the residents. They say that they take the residents on trips to restaurants, trips to shopping, and activities that come in like church and singing and things like that. They have an onsite physical therapy and an onsite hairdresser.

Vista Veranda was nice, clean, and modernized. The people were friendly and nice. The social worker works with you. They had a nice rehabilitation center. I had a problem with communication because I live two hours away and I would email them information and it'd take a couple of days for me to get my emails back, but overall, the staff was nice. I like their floor plan, the cleanliness, and everything.

Vista Veranda is really nice. I have really no complaints about it. The staff was very nice to both of us. The accommodations were very well organized, and very clean. I would definitely recommend it to anybody that's looking for their loved one. They had studio apartments, just a standard apartment. They had bingo. They had a dining area, activity room, and they had a physical fitness room.

We visited Vista Veranda and looked at both the memory care area and the assisted living. The staff was very good. The lady even came over here and brought me a lunch. The food wasn't their food though; she just got takeout here. Their menu looked good, and sufficient, and you had choices. I didn't taste any of their food, but I think they have meals at set times. It's a little bit older building, but they had a garden area where you could at least work in the dirt or help them do some planting. My husband always liked doing the garden, so it would've given him an opportunity to get his hands in the dirt again, and not every place has that. It has a busy area around it, but you can look over and see a park, and if you felt like it, you can walk over there, and they have some walking areas around there a bit. They're very accommodating, very caring, and very friendly. The facility seemed good. They're limited with what they can show with the COVID going on, but it seemed adequate from what we could see.

As a health care professional, I have seen many different types of care and caring provided to residents of assisted living facilities. The staff at this Vista Veranda is what makes it top-notch. They care for my parents, and they really *CARE* - from the director to the housekeepers. The maintenance man with endless respectful patience is a gem. And while most of the nurses are quite good, there are some that are just spectacular. While I wish my stubborn parents would agree to come live near me, at least I can be assured they are in good hands.

Vista Veranda is a wonderful facility for your loved ones. I was in need of help for my mother fast and they accommodated me. The staff was and continues to be so caring and compassionate. It does feel like a family. When I visit my mom, everyone knows who I am. The rooms are all carpeted, comfortable and cozy. They each have a large window that lets in a lot of natural light. The window sill is huge and can accommodate pictures, flowers, plants, etc. My mom likes the food and the outdoor setting is beautiful and peaceful. It comforts me to know that my mom is in a safe, loving community. I highly recommend Vista Veranda.

Vista Veranda is a wonderful place, our Mom has been a resident for several years, first in Assisted Living and now in Memory Care. The Staff have always been wonderful - they are responsive anytime we have questions or concerns. They consider their residents as part of their extended family. When a family is dealing with an aging parent it is overwhelming, it has been great to partner with the team at Vista Veranda throughout the process. It is such peace of mind knowing that your loved one is being cared for in a safe and loving environment.

Vista Veranda has the sweetest, kindest staff. From first contact forward I have had complete helping hands with all of the staff. Simply amazing. It is like walking into a family reunion when I go to visit my father. I am so grateful to everyone at Vista Veranda. I am able to work full time and deal with my home responsibilities without a worry. I KNOW they are taking superb care of my father. It was such an emotional and mental relief to have been lucky enough to find them on a short notice and in an emergency situation. Thank you ALL at Vista Veranda for being the wonderful people that you are!

Vista Veranda was fabulous, and they're very kind. It's a Catholic facility and their religious services were better than any of the other ones that I visited. It's very homey and comfortable, and they have memory care that's very secure. Room size was very small, but the facility was nice. The staff member was very persistent, very kind, understanding, very helpful, and very passionate. She called everyone by their first name and had a personal connection with everybody we came across. The food smelled delicious and looked very appealing. They had a connection with the library and they would bring them books weekly or monthly, and the religious aspect was very well rounded.

It was a very nice facility, clean, and didn't have the smell. The staff was friendly. The dining room was nice sized and looked inviting. The residents seemed to be content. They had community rooms, which were open and airy.

I had a fast tour. It was very nice and quiet. I did see a couple of rooms, and they were very nice. If you have two people in there, they're a little tight, but for a single person, there is plenty of room. They took the time to answer questions. I only looked at it because it was close.
