My mom moved into Windsor Estates Assisted Living for a respite stay. It's an absolutely excellent place. I have no complaints at all. They're wonderful. My mom says the food is good and there's plenty of it. She's enjoying all the activities that they have. She was not being real social at home, but once we got her in there, I think they kind of drew her out a little bit, and she's back to being social and happy and enjoying things. So, they've been really, really good. She said all the staff are very friendly and very helpful, and she's very comfortable with them. She says she has a very comfortable room. She feels good being there. They put a lift chair in the room for her. The furniture in her room is very nice and in very good condition.

My mother-in-law moved into Windsor Estates Assisted Living. She's doing well. She just got out of isolation, and she's doing her first activity today. She said the staff is wonderful, and the food is also wonderful. They have laundry, housekeeping, and a hairstylist on site.

Windsor Estates was nicer, newer, and prettier. If I had to choose, I would put my dad in this community. The staff who assisted us was very nice. She answered all of our questions and took a lot of time with us. The rooms were bigger. The dining room was larger and very pretty. There were more people out and about. The residents were out of their rooms, and in the common areas. They did have a schedule of activities, but nothing was going on when I was there.

I have just moved my mother in during the last two weeks. She is very pleased with the staff, the building and the food. I too seen the clean and the brite and it has now been open for 5 years I think. Of course I had another reason for bringing my mother here and that was a member of the family works at the facility.

Masternick Memorial Helath Care Center was fairly new and really very nice too. It was a beautifully decorated and also village type place like the other place was, but it was very clean, very bright, and cheerful. It wasn't dark or dirty or smelly, and it was just really very beautiful. Like I said, the room was very clean, very bright, and sunny; the walls were painted yellow, and it was just very cheerful.

Windsor Estates was a new facility so they had a little bit organizing to do. My sister had a big room and it was big enough to be divided. On one side, it was her bed with desk and night stand. On the other side, I put a love seat, pair of chairs, a big table with the television on it, a big dresser and a reclining chair. She had no kitchenette, and there was a bathroom wih a walk-in shower. Some residents liked the food and others did not. It was a lovely place and I was pleased. The only negative about it was that there were no grounds that you could walk on. It was pretty much a parking lot around it.

Overall, we are happy with this facility as my grandmother seems to be happy with the facility. Whenever a problem arises with my grandfather, she calls and, according to her, it is taken care of quickly. However, there are several problems with this facility and they usually have to do with the staff. While some of the staff is wonderful, some of them are woefully under-qualified for this kind of care (it is a very small town so we know many of the workers). While we recognize that daily work at such a facility can desensitize workers or lead them to believe that most incidents are not emergencies, it is disconcerting to see my grandfather press his help button and have nobody arrive for 20 minutes or more. It is a difficult line to walk but it would be better to have employees that would err on the side of caution just in case there is an actual emergency. However, we also appreciate that the facility does its best to accommodate whatever the resident needs to feel like they are at home.

Being a new facility and fairly new to the area, I was not familiar with where I was going, however, upon entering the facility, I was extremely pleased with the friendly faces and helpful attitudes to help me find my way to the patient's room. I felt the facility was very clean and organized and the entire staff was very professional and followed all proper procedures for visitation rules, medication giving rules etc. There were also many family friendly activities for the patients and visitors at the site. Furthermore, the patient I was visiting commented and she felt the food was of high quality at the facility and was also very pleased with the cleanliness and courteous service to her and her guest. Her room was also very tidy and kept well each day by the cleaning staff. I would recommend this facility to any future patients. They also welcome our church choir in on Sunday afternoons for their entertainment

The facility that I visited was very clean and welcoming. The caretakers were very personable and kind. The staff was caring and very helpful. I noticed and also took part in some of the daily activities upon my visits. We took a short exercise class and also joined a bingo game. The bathrooms were clean and the rooms were immaculate. The rooms were like a small apartment, with kitchenettes, bathrooms and a cozy living space. The food was excellent and the whole staff treated us as family. These people really do an outstanding job. I would recommend windsor estates to family and friends with no doubt that the would have a pleasant stay. I give them the highest rating for treating my grandmother and the rest of us like family. They truly are the best around and I enjoyed knowing that my grandmother had the freedom to move around and be in a monitored environment.
