For my friend, we have chosen the Embassy of Lyndhurst. There are some positives. One negative is, that my friend is deaf, and there's no interpreter there, so it gets very frustrating. It's clean and nice. It smells like fresh air. The room is nice. His bedroom is large, and he's alone. He is independent, and he likes that. One negative is, that the nurses and the staff can't communicate. They will write a simple sentence, but I think they need to get an interpreter when the nurse or the staff is trying to talk with him. I have asked them several times to get an interpreter and they keep putting it off. It's been three months and there's no interpreter as of yet, so that is not acceptable to me. They have a barber shop, and they have a dining room, but my friend prefers to eat in his room. They have a place you can exercise, and they have activities. They have a shower room. It's separate, it's not in his room, but they have a place to shower. I would give it a 3 because my friend is deaf. I know everyone there is hearing and he's the only deaf person, so he doesn't get the same access. It sort of puts him at a disadvantage. It seems that the staff has done well. They give them medicine, bring food, and clean the room. But the staff needs to get an interpreter. The place seems to be very well kept. It was very expensive.

I was here for 4 months. I complained that i was in pain and l had infection . day nurses didn't call my doctor for more than 3 weeks. 2 stna. Munoy and Danielle were very good. 2 months later i was moved to 2nd floor where things got very bad. Dietician amy wolf. Made simple menu for me. Basically no pasta no white bread. But they didn't follow it. I lost more than 30lbs. And end up in er.

WOEFULLY UNDERSTAFFED ! two aides helped my friend to the commode. when he experienced severe abdominal pain i pushed the button. no-one came. i went to look for help and was told the only one who could help was the nurse who was on a break. the patient decided to just go back to bed to wait for the nurse but there was only one aide so i had to assist. when i had to leave he was still in distress and still NO nurse.

Kindred Assisted Living is very nice and clean. So far, we’ve been very pleased with everything. If there’s a problem, the director sees to it quickly and fixes it. The food is good.

Well my first impression of The Greens were wow . My aunt was at this facility and it was really nice compared to where she was before. My aunt was not really eating but once she got to the Greens her appetite picked up, she told me she liked food. The staff was nice and didn't mine answering any questions we had. Her physical therapy help her alot. I notice each time we went she was upbeat and more mobile than before, almost like a track star. I would recommend them to anyone, even myself. Thank you Greens for taking good care of my aunt.

My sister was in Rehabilitation at the Greens for under 20 days. She reported the physical therapy to be very good. The staff was good, though understaffing was evident in that when the call button was pushed it would take a significant amount of time for someone to arrive. My sister contracted a contagious disease while there and the best practices precautions were not taken. There was no sign on the door, and visitors were not alerted to her being contagious. Further, though she was not ready to be discharged, a discharge was planned just prior to her 20 days and physical therapy signed off, even though she could not stand, walk, transfer or care for herself. A discharge plan obviously based on economic, rather than Patient health and safety concerns. They apparently were not even concerned with the liability risks involved, given her situation, nor did they tell family until a few days prior. We transferred her to another, better facility.

My mother is in Reflections, it's a memory care program at Greens and we greatly enjoyed the cookout we were invited to and mom also enjoyed the bowling activity recently. We are so pleased to have her there and think the staff are all so good to her. Would definitely recommend this facility.

I did think about Kindred for a while, but then I heard some negative things about it. I had considered it, but the composition of the patient load was not so good -- they were just all old and kind of depressed looking. It was hard to dig out a live person to walk you around. I saw their rooms from the hallway, and they seemed fine. If they had more young people it would be OK; my son is not that young, but he is not old in terms of a nursing home, and if not for his accident he wouldn't be in a nursing home.

This place looks nice on the outside the but it's chaos on the inside not many residents would speak up about it. The physical therapy is amazing! The nurses and aides who work here lack communication all the way from the top to the low person doing maintenance. IT's a shame. This place could be a lot better if the aides actually did shift reports and have better communication.

Fountains on the Greens looked OK, but it was more than what our friends would want to spend. They were doing stuff when we visited, although my friends would not be interested in any of the activities. The rooms were not too homey. They looked like a normal one-bedroom with a little kitchen at the other end and one bathroom.

The therapy team works very well together. They truly took the time to make sure I was ok and they exceeded my expectations. They listened to my needs, laughed and I could just tell they loved thier jobs. My family came in and saw me walk with therapy. I was thrilled to show them my progress! The nursing and facility care has also been excellent. Everyone goes above and beyond.

The Fountains was a beautiful facility. It was very nice. It looked nice, clean, and neat. The rooms were very nice. It would be a nice place to live in. They were reasonable in terms of size. Naturally, they were not large, but they were sufficient. This place was bright. They did have a nice entrance so that you would not get wet if you have to go out and get in a car. I met several of the staff there. The one thing, though, that I don't like about this place was that they didn't have wireless. I can only read using my Kindle Fire, so I would have to go someplace else every time I needed to get a new book.

My mom has been to this facility. The place is really beautiful and clean. The people and staff are warm and friendly. The facility is very neat and you can't smell anything bad. Our family really appreciates the manner in which the staff looks into the medical needs of our mother and appears to have a deep interest in the health of residents. This place is wonderful to stay.

The staff was very friendly there. They just let me in after a while since they recognized me from every single morning and occasionally at night as well. The food was pretty good, according to my grandma. The staff let me have some juice in the morning too, for free, even though it was only for the residents. They took very good care of my grandmother there too. They were always on time for her therapy and meals and they really helped her. She really liked them. She said when she gets her knee surgery, she is definitely going back there. They came in to check on her in the middle of the night and whenever she needed to take her medicine. It wasn't like some of the other places that would just put on a facade when the family or friends were there. They were always taking excellent care of her. My grandma has high standards and she said that it was great there. I believe her when she tells me this, from what I saw when I was there. The facility was always clean too, except for the occasional times walking through the extended stay areas, there were stinky sheets needing to get washed, but that is expected when they need to change the sheets. But other than that, wonderful place. Good Job Greens of Lyndhurst.

A nice place, clean, lots of activities. They are very understanding. Visiting is easy. They have their act together. A safe place. A good place for a relative. The staff is professional. The location has good parking. It is in a safe area. There are TVs and activities for the older people. There are a lot of nice decorations during the holidays. They try to make it more like a home than a hospital like setting. It is a comfort to have a nice place for an older relative to go and this place puts my family at ease. There are shops near and the ability to pick someone up, take them to a party and bring them back because it is close to relatives. They also update us on any behavior issues that we might need to be aware of. Overall a good place.
