My father moved into Vista Springs Ravinia Estate 3 weeks ago. I like that it's a smaller community, and I don't have anything negative to say about it. The staff is very good and very helpful, so far, from what I can see. He's got a 1-bedroom apartment. It is very nice, modern, kept up, and very clean. The living atmosphere is positive and friendly. It's very easy to get around because it's not that big. The food is not bad. I would say it's above average. The servers are very good to the residents. Everything in the dining room is clean and spread out, and they wait on you right away. They do music and they play cards, and they have current events and things like that.

If you are considering this place for memory care DONT! My father in law was taken 3 times to hospital with pneumonia and severe dehydration.we were advised by hospital doctor not to take him back there. He lost 20 pounds in a month and a half. Also had severe bruise on his hip unaccounted for by the facility. The hospital found the bruise. Also he phones us one nite to say he was on the floor and could not get up.WE had to call the facility to notify them that he was in the floor. The staff on weekends are always sitting on their phones letting patients to fend for themselves. Don't let the pretty facade fool you not the place yoh want your !over one.

Apts are okay. Staff are not very good re weekly housekeeping and/or laundry. Laundry schedule not adhered to and clothes are often lost and never compensated and family never compensated for loss of senior resident personal clothes. Care is "hit or miss."

My mother loved being at vista springs independence , ohio. She made friends and interacted and participated in many many wonderful activities. Hannah is the best. She loves the residents and engages them in fun and thoughtful activities. The staff is seriously lacking in numbers. There were many times she needed help and the wait times just too long. The administration is horrible. Do not return phone calls. My mom was sent to the ER after falls and she was in the hospital many days. No one called to see how she was doing. She had a stroke and was sent back to vista for hospice care and when she passed not one word of condolence from the administration!!! She lived there almost 16 months!!! She was part of the community! We did get a call asking us when we would clean out her room! Just very sad

I toured Vista Springs Ravinia Estate. It was nice. The staff was good. The food was good. But all their clienteles were very old, and it was depressing to see them. However, the staff members were very attentive. They reached out to me several times, but they couldn't sell the place to me. They had activities but not a whole lot. They had a gym, a salon, and a courtyard. In terms of location, it's a little bit of a distance to drive and go to restaurants.

My mom is in the assisted living of Vista Springs Ravinia Estate. I like that it's close to where I live, and the people there are nice and caring for the most part, but sometimes they're understaffed, and I don't feel that she gets the attention that is necessary. There have been a lot of times when I've gone there and no one has come to check on her. She is unable to take herself to the restroom, then she has accidents, and then she stays that way until somebody finally checks on her, and it's causing some medical issues. I think if they hire more staff then they could properly care for their residents in a timely fashion. It's a beautiful facility. They get three meals a day and they have a very nice dining room. If you don't like what they have, they say you can fill out a menu, which I've done for my mom because she doesn't always like what they have, but they don't always follow the choices that she makes, and then she doesn't end up eating. My mom won't leave her room to do activities, but they have them there, and I see other people enjoying them. She hasn't participated, but they have a lot of them. They have a salon but we haven't used it yet. You have to pay extra for that. They have a room where you can do physical therapy, but they've never taken her in there even after I suggested it several times.

We like our tour of Vista Springs Ravinia Estate. It looks very new, it was very clean, and the rooms were very nice. The amenities were good, and they have an outdoor space in front of the building, there's a courtyard, and it was woodsy around. It was in a nice area. They also offered for us to come and try the food. The problem there is that we were there twice, and both times we hardly saw anybody. Also, my dad kept telling me that he doesn't see anybody. They showed us their movie or cinema rooms but there were never any residents in there. The staff was very nice.

My brother has stayed in Vista Springs Ravinia Estate for two weeks for respite to see how he likes it. It's beautiful. They have good staff and great food. There is a lot of care and concern from all of the staff. It's top of the line. The facility is beautiful. They have everything that seniors could want. It's a very nice facility. The rooms are one- or two-bedroom apartments. They're very well furnished, very modern, and very updated. The staff was very friendly, very caring, and very attentive. The food was excellent.
