Brookdale Englewood was excellent. They were very sociable, very concerned, and answered all my questions. They were very helpful and they still keep in contact with me by email. The apartments were nice and very clean. In some places, you go in and there's a scent, but at Brookdale Englewood, there was none. The staff was very nice and I also saw them interacting with the residents, which was good. They were very attentive. They have a social coordinator where they sing songs together and stuff. The lady there was very personable. They take care of their facility and it was very clean.

Brookdale Englewood was pleasant and everything looked good. It's one of the ones that's until I inspected some more, it is still in the running right now. The people were good and very attentive. I saw a two-bedroom. They showed us the dining room and they mentioned that some people were going out on excursions during the day while we were there. They mentioned that they had a full-service beauty shop, a barber shop, and everything that you would need for extended care. They were knowledgeable, pleasant, and polite. Inside the building, everything was well-kept and everything.

Brookdale Englewood was nice. The people were nice, and the staff who gave me the tour was great. The rooms looked nice and clean. Everything was good. I liked the whole place. The dining area was fancy and clean. They had an exercise class going, a floral design class, and walking on the patios outside. They also had a place for church services.
Happy to be able to move

Their food is the worst I ever ate and I have attended cooking school. I spoke to the director about this, sent her a letter with a copy to Brookdale and got no response. I have asked many other residents about this and they have the same concerns, but most are old and can’t leave. It’s truly a shame for their health and happiness. We have gone without hot water on numerous occasions. The apartment was dirty upon moving in and I was promised amenities that were never delivered.

I like that Brookdale Englewood is very friendly, has a very clean atmosphere, it's very homey looking, and didn't look like a normal nursing home. It was quite homely looking and it just met all of the criteria that we needed. No patients were sitting out in the hallways or in wheelchairs that looked all medicated, and it just made me feel comfortable about taking my mom there. They answered all of our questions, which made me feel very comfortable. The rooms were very, very nice, roomy, and seemed well-kept. The whole facility seemed very clean and well-kept, so I was very excited about that. Just the amenities that they had available for everyone were really neat. They had rooms where people could gather together, social rooms to watch TV. Their outside area was a very, very nice wooded area where they could feel like they were outdoors and not just locked up in a facility. The dining area was also very, very nice. Every room had its own shower but then they have a sort of a spa bathtub area also, that if you wanted to take a bath, you could do that as well, or sit in a shower if you prefer that.

I went to Brookdale Englewood before this COVID mess started. I was very pleased. Actually, I was excited about it. I liked the cleanliness, the personality, the morale of the employees, and I loved the design of the rooms. I saw the dining room before anyone was there for dinner. The staff was wonderful.

My mother and I are very happy with Brookdale Englewood. The staff is wonderful, and the services are great. I have no complaints. Everything is very good. They do coloring, flower arranging, trivia, and they have all kinds of things going on.

I was in Brookdale Englewood for a short time, it was beautiful and looked liked a country club. The staff was extremely helpful, very well presented, very well dressed, and all the amenities were superb. They had a good program with memory care. Its an excellent. expensive facility. I toured both assisted and memory care. I saw them ordering food.

Brookdale Englewood is a little on the pricey side. The rooms were decent and the place was clean and organized.

My grandmother was in Brookdale Englewood for about 4 months. When you walk up the living room, it was just very well-done, very clean, and kind of a very formal setting, which appealed to all of us. When you walk down there were always cookies and coffee for anyone who walked in at anytime. She was in the Alzheimer’s unit, so it had to be locked, but the people were really on top of it because you had to be buzzed in and buzzed out. They had music therapies, light exercises, movies, and puzzles.

We did find a place for my father-in-law. It’s Brookdale Englewood. They are very helpful and kind. They made my father-in-law comfortable immediately. Their facility couldn’t be any better. I like their helpfulness in assimilating him into the facility. I absolutely recommend them.

We went to Brookdale. It was very nice and very homey, but it was more expensive. It was the most homey one that we went to, and the rooms were very accommodating, but it was a little bit more pricey than the other places. The staff was very nice. They set us lunch, and the food was very good, but we didn't see any activities. We were there lunch time, but there was nothing going on there.

I visited Brookdale. I was very impressed with the place. It was like a nice hotel actually. They had 4 different sizes of rooms or apartment-type areas. For my parents, there were two different ones that would be really great. The dining room looked almost like a restaurant dining room, and it was very nice. The outside areas where they could walk or sit outside were nice. They gave us information about the activities, and there was a calendar. It looked like they do a lot of stuff. They play cards and bingo. They had exercise classes. They go places. They took them off site to various activities and stuff. The two apartments that we were interested in both had like a bedroom, a living place with a small kitchenette -- it had no stove just a microwave -- a small refrigerator, counter, and some storage, so if they wanted to have food in the room, they could. They were really nice. They had a code, and in order to leave, they would have to be able to put a code in. They couldn't just walk out. The area for them to walk was like a big courtyard so they wouldn't be able to leave unless a family member came in and took them out. I liked the apartments because I thought they would work for my parents because of the size and the feel of it. It would be like their own little house.

I selected Brookdale Place of Englewood. It's a small and personal place; that is what I like about it. The rooms are very spacious, but it has a limited kitchen with only a refrigerator and a microwave. They can select what they want from a menu as supposed to just having food put on the table.

We visited Brookdale Place, and we really liked that facility. I liked how it was set up. I liked the pod system because it broke them down into smaller units, and the central living area was really nice and very attractive. The atmosphere was very nice. There's not a whole of staff there, but it's good. We liked the rooms, particularly the two-bedroom units. They seemed spacious and bright. We looked at their menus, and it seemed fine. The grounds were very well kept, and it was very convenient to where we live.

Brookdale Place was a really nice facility but it seemed to be set up more as assisted living. But in comparison to other facility we visited, this one seemed nicer. They have bigger rooms. The staff was very nice, very helpful and polite. I was impressed with this facility especially for assisted living.

I really liked the director at Brookdale Place. He was very kind and friendly. They allowed pets there and made it more of a home feel. The food there supposedly was made from scratch but I didn't sample it. The rooms were standard, small and clean and some had a little kitchenette.

Brookdale is closer to my sister and the staff was very accommodating and responsive. Dad has been living there for about three months. The rooms are very clean, the dining room is spacious and I like the layout of the place with its interconnections. There are a lot of activities like bingo, socials, and they have a monthly focus for their trips. My dad says the food is good and he loves the department as he calls it.

Our grandparents lived here for 5-10 years into their 90's. The setting is VERY homey, and doesn't feel like a nursing home or assisted living facility. Has a lovely dining room, and a private, formal dining room w/a fireplace that families can use for gatherings. The staff was excellent and friendly. The activities director had a full schedule of things to participate in, including outings on their small "bus" to see the fall colors, Christmas lights, shopping, restaurants, theater productions, etc... There is a large patio and large enclosed back yard for residents and their families to enjoy. There are smaller enclosed areas where residents can have small gardens. If we were looking for a place currently for a family member, we would definitely start our search with Brookdale.

This assisted living facility has a very nice environment. It is a smaller facility with various optional activities for the tenants that run all day. The rooms very in layout, but are setup so they have a nice home environment. Each one has a small kitchenette wich they can use for there meals if they do not want what is being served in the dining area. The staff is very friendly and helpful to the tenants, they check on them every so often to see if the tenants are in need of anything. The facility is well staffed during the week, however they are short staffed on the weekends, which can cause issues when a tenant is in need of management help. The facility also has a very nice courtyard which is setup with tables and chairs, so the tenants can enjoy the fresh air. All and all I this is a very nice facility and the employees are good people.
