The lady at Brookdale Centennial Park was very personable. I just got an email from her not long ago to ask me how I was doing and how my mom was doing. The apartments were nice and roomy enough. They had two different types and they were clean and set up nicely. The residents bring their personal items to make it feel more at home. I didn't try their food, but I saw what the residents were eating and they seemed to be pleased with the meals that they were getting. I had a relative there and she looked very good and well, and they're taking good care of the people there. She was enjoying her lunch. Their price is pretty comparable to the other places I called about and spoke to.

Brookdale Centennial Park was a beautiful facility. The staff appeared to love each other like family, along with the residents. The facility was clean, and the rooms were extremely nice. The dining area was open, airy, and had plenty of room. The residents appeared to be enjoying themselves.

We just toured Brookdale Centennial Park. It was assisted living. It was very clean, very organized, and had friendly and very helpful staff. They took their time with us, we didn't feel rushed. We were just very impressed. They were very welcoming. The rooms were a little small. I think they're going to be a little small for my sister and her husband. They were clean though. They were well laid out and I have to say that the design was great, but they're a little small for us. They had laundry and cleaning services. They also had physical therapy. They have a barbershop and a beauty salon as well. They have entertainment. They have a couple of rooms for people to watch TV. They also had a really beautiful sunroom and a patio.

My mother is in Brookdale Centennial Park. The food is pretty good, and everybody seems to like it. The people are really nice and helpful with anything you might want or need. They have ice cream socials, and they had entertainment and a nice dinner for families on Father's Day. It's small, but pretty clean.

I visited Brookdale Centennial Park for my mother. The dining area seemed to be very nice. I spoke to the chef and he was very friendly. Everybody seemed to be very friendly. The rooms were on the small side. I didn’t care for the location though. It is right next to a funeral home, and that turned me off a little bit. Also I think it was a little pricey for what you get. They did have a room that has one of the walk-in tubs. They also had had a beauty shop.

We briefly went to Sterling House of Englewood and I didn’t particularly care for it, but the rooms were spacious enough for me and it was a clean facility. I just briefly saw the dining room and I don’t know exactly how many it can accommodate, but it seemed small. There was only one person who talked to us and he seemed nice and pleasant. They did tell us that they do have activities like bingo. They explained everything but we weren't there long enough to go through it thoroughly.

Looking for a place for my dad. The staff was so nice, friendly and kind. The kind of people I would want to take care of my dad. The building is nice, clean, and homey. The apartments were a good size and the closets were huge! My dad liked that he could bring in his own furniture. There were a lot of men there unlike a lot of places that we saw. My dad would really like having some guys to hang out with.

We liked Sterling House. It was a very well kept, very nice, and I thought it was very pretty. The rooms were very nice, and I liked them a lot. We like the size of the bigger rooms. We like their configuration, and they were decorated nicely. The kitchenette seemed very usable. They gave us some cookies on our way out, which were good, but we didn't try their regular food. Mark did a very good job in showing us around.

The staff who accommodated me at Sterling House of Englewood was very great. He showed me everything in the facility. I felt the tour was complete when we were done, but I felt like the rooms were too small for my dad. They felt like hospital rooms. The dining room was too small. The people seemed to need more care, and it was just not what my dad would feel comfortable about. It was a little too sedentary for him, but I would highly rate them because it felt intimate, and I wouldn’t feel like my dad would have been forgotten if he needed more care.

Sterling House seemed very nice. It was a more affordable facility. The people that we met were nice too. We only got to see one room and it seemed adequate. Their dining area was clean but maybe not as clean as in the other facility. There was a little bit of an odor there.

A small facility of approximately 60 apartments, one level, with an interior courtyard. I appreciated the fact that those with dementia and Alzheimer's were not locked off in a ward by themselves, which would have certainly caused my Mother, who had mild Alzheimer's, to deteriorate more quickly. A devoted staff who came to know and appreciate my Mother for the individual she was. I would highly recommend this facility.
