My aunt has been in Arden Courts of Bath for three weeks now. We felt it was the best fit for her because it was smaller and because of the way that it was laid out. We just really liked it. She's doing well there and thriving, doing a lot of activities and stuff. It's a complete turnaround from where she was. It's great. We're very happy with it. The whole facility is memory care. The staff is unbelievable. Every single person is so friendly. Everybody greets you and says hi. If you have any questions, they are on top of things. Nobody ignores you or anything. Every single person there is fantastic. We were there on Mother's Day and watched her eat, and it looked delicious. It was like a giant pizza meatloaf, green beans, and baked potato, and she said it was very good. The place is immaculate. There's a whole schedule of stuff on their calendar and the calendar doesn't even list everything that they do. The one time I went, they played basketball. They go outside, they do walks, they do puzzles and games, they have music people that come play guitar and sing, and they have happy hour Fridays where they do different activities. There's always something going on.

My sister-in-law is in Arden Courts of Bath. It's an extremely good place, but it doesn't take Medicaid. They've taken extremely good care of her, they seem to be up on everything. Anytime, anything that happens they give us a phone call right away, a detailed description of anything that went on, like if she fell, bumped her arm, and got a bruise on it, they're right on the phone, and right after us no matter what time it is. She seems very happy there, she's met a lot of people, she seems very satisfied with the place. She seems to get along with the staff and residents really well. She says the food is good, they do have an outside facility where they can go out and wander around, and it's all enclosed, so they can't wander off or anything like that. We've been really happy with that.

When it became necessary to consider placing my wife into a memory care facility, we carefully researched all of the many options available to us. We visited various places and solicited recommendations from those who had experience in this area. We chose Arden Courts of Bath based on our findings. My wife has been there now for 14 months and we are very pleased with the facility and the people who work there. She is receiving excellent care and seems content in her surroundings. That is all one can ask for.

Arden Courts was good. I didn’t like it because it was a lock down, but I didn’t find anything wrong with the place. The staff is really cordial and did everything they could to make it comfortable for people there. Everybody had individual rooms, and there was a memory box to help the residents find their rooms and remember the past.

This is a first-class facility, dedicated to dementia care. My wife has Parkinson's (Lewy Body) dementia and had gone beyond my ability to care for her, and had also "burned out" a private caregiver with 15 years experience with caring for Altzheimers clients. I moved her to Arden Courts of Bath, and her anxiety almost disappeared. The staff is universally cheerful, competent, gentle and kind to all the residents. The facility is the cleanest I have ever seen, and is decorated for providing a cheerful environment. The caregiver-to-resident ratio is always 6 to 1 or less. Daily planned activities, geared to the mental capabilities of the residents, are provided 7 days of the week. I highly recommend this facility if your loved one has any form of dementia. A RN or LPN is on duty at all times (24-7) in addition to the caregivers (no false caregiver counts here!) Also available, but not counted as a caregiver are Activities directors, cooks, housekeepers and administrative staff.

My wife is in Arden Courts right now. They're excellent and a specialist in Alzheimer's. They keep the residents very involved and active daily. They offer the latest updates on good news, games, and music. They vary their interactions with the residents. I'm very satisfied.

Arden Courts was not a good fit because my husband has Lewy body dementia, and they advertise that they can take care of that, but they cannot. The facility is lovely, and the people are very nice. The staff was great, and the food was fine. He had a small private room with a half bath, and it was nice. They had air conditioning; there were no TVs in the room. You could put one in at your expense, but there are community TVs out in the main rooms.

My mother has been placed at Arden Courts of Bath. It is an assisted living for Alzheimer's patients. I am very pleased with it. It is very clean and nice, and everyone is very nice to us. They do exercising, music, bingo, and popcorn Wednesdays. They have a variety of activities; I'm very pleased with that. Mom has a private room with a half bath. It is suitable and homey, but I wouldn't say it is spacious. I haven't had a lot of experience with them yet, but everything has been fine so far.

I toured the Alzheimer's unit of Arden Courts. It was really nice and it had individual rooms. I liked that when I came in there, everybody was sitting at a table playing music and singing old songs. They only put the TV on channels that showed shows in the 50's and 60's so that the patients would maybe remember them. They had a large gathering room. The halls were called neighborhoods. Each of them had a kitchen, with different things to eat. I really liked it. Everybody seemed to know everybody. The caretakers knew the patients by name. They would talk to them. Everybody seemed happy. It's a place where I would go to without any qualms.

My mother was a resident of Arden Court for seven years. The first two years seemed to be good ones with a good administrator. She was engaged in many activities and adjusted well. Then the administrator left and and the turnover in staff became numerous. My mom's behavior worsened in her dementia and she became withdrawn and preferred to isolate in her room. The staff were ineffective in getting her out of her room and left her to become more isolated and belligerent. Our family had many concerns that were left unresolved after many care team meetings. The final straw was our mother being left unchecked upon at night which resulted in her wandering out of her room, going into a empty room, falling and being unable to get up for some time. She was quite frightened and delusional. This resulted in a hsopitilization and move to a skilled nursing care facility. The food was good, the environment clean and pleasant but the staff responsible for engaging her in meaningful activity were sorely lacking.

My father-in-law has been a resident for 18 months. The staff treat all the residents.... and the resident's loved ones...with respect and compassion and genuine care. Very satisfied with the individualized care he receives in his home. (and it is a home)
