Thank you is not enough. I was a resident for 3 months plus. All of the staff was wonderful. I am at home and doing everything for myself. It’s due to the great care I got. THANK YOU.

Our brother was admitted there as a terminally ill patient about two weeks before he passed away. We are overwhelmed with the daily care he received. They kept him pain free and provided him with the proper hygiene he could not do himself. The morning he passed away the Chaplin Gwenn B provided a very nice prayer service in his room along with the staff in attendance. They have a policy there that all patients go out through the front door just like the way they were admitted there. They made an announcement about him being taken out so all residents and staff members could come out of their rooms if possible and show their respect. We have never seen this before and loved it. Thank you again Valley Eldercare for all you did for our brother and making us feel like family while we were with him.

During my visits to Valley Memorial Home I found the staff to be warm and friendly, and the whole place had a homey atmosphere. It was nicely decorated, as well. My favorite was the Willkommen banner by the door. There was a large dining hall and several entertainment halls, as well as a little aviary. I saw that they had different events and things going on each week. There were different games and TVs. I visited when I was in school, so it's been a while, but I had a good time visiting with the residents and playing cards. The students at my school would visit regularly as part of community volunteering. We also would plant things in the gardens, when I was there we made the flowerbeds look very pretty for the spring. All in all, it was a very pleasant place to visit, and if I had not moved out of the state I would still volunteer regularly.
