Brian center, where do I start. Starting with the administration, they pass the buck when they are questioned about your family member that resides at the Brian Center not being cared for properly. Some of the new or contracted employees are not doing their job to satisfaction. They don't don't follow directions, and to be honest I don't think they could care less because it's not their family member. There are employees that have been there since the arrival and they are very compassionate and does their job well. I suggest if you're thinking about a place for your family member, find somewhere else, stay clear away from that place. My biggest issue is I feel my family member is being punished for the lack of poor operation by administration, social worker's, and certified nursing assistance. I will be contacting every person that I can with documentation of the unfair treatment we have encountered.

My husband ‘s mother lived here until she passed. The staff was great. We watch other families giving the staff a hard time and don’t agree... you need to give the staff some credit and compassion also. They do a great job for our loved ones and it has to be a challenge. Thanks for all you do!

The Staff are some of the most caring people I have ever meet. They consistently worked with my family to make our mother’s stay as comfortable as possible. I will never forget their kind and caring attitudes.

Skilled nurses? Really? My mom was sent to the facility after being released from a hospital. If you are an elderly person who needs a babysitter, its the perfect place. If you have any type of health issues you will die. The nurses aren't qualified to watch a dog, let alone care for patients. My mom needed assistance and these so called nurses ignored her. She called us in a panic and we rushed to Brian center to find out her oxygen was 76 and she was in soiled depends. It looked like she was left with it on for several hours. I had to ask someone to clean her up. The NA was extremely rude... Thanks to the horrible care my mom received from this ridiculous place, she is now back in the hospital, if we would not have showed up, she'd be dead. I have nothing nice to say about this place, This is the onein Wilson NC.
Happy family guy

My family and friends have gone to BC Wilson for years for rehab. Any time they need to go somewhere we always want to go back there. They have done great jobs making sure my loved ones can get back home. Do I think they are perfect- no, but management is very responsive to any issues of families. They can't always fix everything, but they do follow-up and let you know what was done about any issue we ever had. The staff works hard out here and deserves recognition. Good Job!!

My mother has lived in this facility for years. The staff works hard to try to get herb everything she needs and wants. They love her and she has formed great relationships with them. They do a great job at keeping me informed of everything going on with my mom. They are people caring for people and they do not get enough credit from families for all of the hard work they do on a daily basis. People tend to complain about everything---they need to give the staff credit---if we could do it perfect for our loved ones at home we would have them there with us.....Thank you staff and management for the great care you give my mother.

I TRULY REGRET MY FATHER BEING IN THIS UNORGANIZED FACILITY. LACK OF COMMUNICATION BETWEEN STAFF MEMBERS. OT AND PT TEAM ARE AWESOME, THANK YOU. DO ANY OF THE NURSING STAFF READ THE CHARTS AND RELATE MESSAGES TO THE CNAS? BETTER YET NURSES DO YOU SHARE INFORMATION BETWEEN EACH OTHER? COMMUNICATION HAS GOT TO GET BETTER. NOONE WANTS TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR MISTAKES. IT'S OK WE ARE ALL HUMAN, MISTAKES HAPPEN. COMMUNICATION COMMUNICATION READ THE CHARTS BEFORE YOU KEEP ADMINISTERING MEDICINES.

This is the worst place to send anyone. My mother in law had bad care. Bedsores, fell out of bed. Left her in soiled diapers and poops..

I am a patient recently admitted to the Brian Center in Wilson, NC for rehab from a Ankle Fracture. While here at the Brian Center, I have experience the excellent care being provided by their Physical Therapy and Occupation Therapy Departments. I have learned a lot about my care from the staff. Even though most of the staff is busy, They take their time to explained and teach the proper way to better my health. I have found that within these halls merge the evidence of great care and pride within the individuals that work here. The upper levels of Management should adhere to the same rules of conduct as the staff thus providing the best atmosphere to generate a working relationship. Overall, I have been very please with my care and treatment here at the Brian Center in Wilson, NC and would recommend this rehab facility to anyone seeking help. Thanks Again

My mom has dementia and she could not live alone. I tried to keep her with me and that didn't just work. That time, she fell at her house while she was still living alone and that's when all this came about. She injured her back. She pretty much needed 24-hour nursing care and so she went to Brian Center. It's a pretty old facility now. It's as pretty clean as they can keep it. It felt cold and clinical. My mom stayed there for almost a year. I can say that they didn't have enough staff. They did as good as they could. There were a lot of residents as opposed to the people working there.

I really hate the smell of assisted livning places and how the staf generally does the job for the 10- 13 dollars an hour and most are African American or from non American descent and using there time as an LPN or CNA at an assisted living to make a little income. The atmosphere is professional but it does not seem to be caring. I am sure the thought of working with folks who are going to die is hard, and this in turn hardens the staff at centers like the one my grandmother is at. I do like the way they do events like Bingo and going to movies or to the fair, gardens or out for the day. I also like that all the rooms are outfitted with alarms and that I can spend the night with her if need to with a pull out sleeper sofa. All in all they are nice to a point but more professional then actually caring.

One thing that I do not like about this Facility is that it has received a 3 star Health Rating. But There are several things that I do like. The staff is very professional and quick to respond to patient needs if and when they arise. They provide one on on personal assistance to each resident on a daily basis and they do not leave any one patient out. They could do a little bit better in their daily clean up but it is not dirty in the least. One thing that stands out is their way of providing spiritual assistance to the residents by allowing local churches to come in a ministers to those who request it. Overall, they are an "ok" facility.
