I went to see Spring Arbor of Wilson and I pretty much liked everything. They had activities, they've got nurses on site, they've just got more privacy and it's a more home feeling than where mom is at now. They do both assisted living and memory care. The staff who gave me the tour was very knowledgeable. I haven't tried the food but I saw their menu and it looked good. They had pretty much everything, they got a spa, they got a salon, activities, a dining room, and a walking track. It's centrally located in Wilson.

Spring Arbor of Wilson was good. The ambassador was really friendly, and he gave us a very thorough tour. It was very clean. The staff that we met was also very nice. They were doing kind of an aerobics class in one of the rooms, and there was a bridge activity going on in another room when we got there. They had a calendar of events, and there was always something going on. The rooms were of good size, and the bathrooms were really good. They were handicap accessible.

We thought that Spring Arbor was quite nice. We had a nice visiting experience there. They didn’t rush us. They were very kind and very polite. They treated us very well. We understood that they wanted us to come back and visit again if we liked, so Spring Arbor was a good place to visit. They have an exercise room and an activities room there. It was smaller than the other place we’ve visited. It was well kept -- not as well lit as the other place -- but it was not bad in any ways. The staff was very nice, but I don’t think the staff or the residents were as energetic as the ones in the other facility. It was also less modern. I spent less time there. It was more institutional and less homey.

I have been contacted several times to provide my photography sevices by Elaine. I can honestly, and proudly say that The staff at Spring Arbor is by far, the best of any similar facility anywhere. Mrs Bulla is not just employed there, she is like a matron to all of these fine people. She truly goes about doing her job and interacting with each client as if each were her own family, and demands that each and every employee has the exact same feelings. I truly would reccommend Spring Arbor, and its staff to any family, anywhere.

What I like best about Spring Arbor is that they have great staff. Aside from the fact that they have a nursing staff onsite, they also have an emergency call button system. Residents would just have to push the button in case, for example, they fell and had an accident or if they just need assistance of some sort. However, they are still encouraged to check in at a certain time to let the staff know how they're doing. I also like this place because it is clean. Their apartments are beautiful, very clean and very spacious. It is like having your own apartment. They have like restaurant-type dining facility. They also have all kinds of activities for their occupants. If we have to put my mother-in-law somewhere, we would definitely consider this place.

It was great. It's a new facility. They have their own beauty shop there, a workout area and the grounds are very nice. It was very convenient for my mom and dad. I walked through and talked to the people there and asked them what they thought about it, about the food and stuff like that. Everyone was pleased with what they serve.

This facility in Wilson, NC is an excellent facility. One of my church friends, in fact, she was one of the oldest members of my church Jackson Chapel 1st Missionary Baptist Church. She has passed away going on 2 years now. She set it up so that members of our church choir could go there and sing for the entire facility. She was an outspoken and loveable person. She stayed that way when she was admitted. That was one way we knew Spring Arbor was and is an excellent facility because she would have talked about it. We noticed the attention the staff gave the residents treating them like individuals and with respect not like just patients. We noticed how the residents were well dressed and bathed. We noticed how attentive they were when the residents weren't feeling well or if they were walking to watch over them to prevent falls. They went out of their way to accommodate and make the families feel needed and treated them with respect. All suggestions were taken to heart and followed the majority of the time. If they went on an outing like to our church, the staff was so attentive. In fact, the word family comes to mind when I think of Spring Arbor of Wilson, NC. If a death occurred at the facility, all knew about it like family, all attended church like family, all shared in the grief like family, and that included the staff. No one was mean. We did not hear about RN/CNA mistreatment of the residents and the residents did not complain about anything of the sort. Spring Arbor is an excellent facility.

Having spent a lot of time visiting nursing homes in and around North Carolina and other states, I have to say that this place is one of the best I have ever seen. It is clean, neat, orderly and well maintained. The staff is kind and professional. Knowing that it can be a challenge to care for the elderly and ill citizens of Wilson an the surrounding area's, they always go above and beyond the call of duty. During my visit the fire alarm was activated by accident yet they treated it like the real thing and made sure that ALL the residents were evacuated promptly and all were accounted for and cared for while the fire department made sure everything was safe. i have to say that this facility is more than suited to provide exceptional care and control of your loved one if the need ever arises for you to have to consider placing the one you love in a facility like this. A standing ovation is given to this facility!
