My father is in a nursing home right now at Peak Resources Wilmington. I think it's a good place. They have a new director now, so I think it is run adequately. It's not the prettiest but it's okay. You feel like your loved one is being taken care of and they're safe. They provide three meals. The food is really good. My father doesn't complain. He seems to like all the food. The staff is very nice. They're very attentive. They seem trained. But I feel like they don't have enough CNAs. I think the place is pretty clean. For activities, they have some bingo games, and they always have a movie night. Other than the movie, my dad can't participate in the games because cognitively, it's just too hard. But the other residents seem to enjoy it. I think it's a shame that you have to spend that much money a month. You would think it'd be a lot nicer, too.

I toured Peak Resources Wilmington. The admissions coordinator was very informative, knowledgeable, and helpful. I found the place to be clean and well-organized. It is one of the few places in the area with a Hoyer lift, which is a big deal. They have a salon and an activities room.

My father will be moving into Peak Resources Wilmington. I met with the administrator and we walked through the place. It's big, beautiful, clean, and smells nice. It smells like popcorn. Someone was making popcorn in the hallway and residents were wheeling themselves around, and the administrator knew the residents by name. The staff looked very attentive and professional. The rooms were spacious. They were like small hotel rooms. They had rooms for people to live individually or with a roommate. They have a person to go in every month to cut hair and a doctor to come in to check their eyes, as well as a dentist. Those services were offered right there onsite. They have rec activities. They have a big room for family gatherings, which we do a lot of, so that was really nice. You could share a meal as a family and watch TV as a family.

My brother moved in at Peak Resources Wilmington in mid-October. Everything has been good, so far. We have been happy with them. The staff has all been very friendly and helpful, and they've communicated pretty well with me. His room has a good size, and he has his own TV. We can decorate his room with his stuff. The dining area looks very nice. They do activities with the residents like a Halloween party. They bring in cats for the residents to pet. They also do music, and arts and crafts. They have a hairstylist and a podiatrist.

I was to this facility after breaking my leg. i had my mother and aunt there a few years before. It was a very nice place then with bright rooms and great food. T facility is now under new management and is horribly run. T nurses are good but the aides are lazy and the food is horrible. I needed help for the bathroom and some times it would be hours before anyone responded to the bell. They would sleep at night. I had to return to the hospital and I was so grateful to leave that place behind. It was the worse two weeks of life.

I was a patient at this facility for about 6 months. I did have some great nurses but most of the aides (not all) are lazy and couldn't care less about the patients. The Activity staff was really good. But the Social Workers are also lazy and don't care about the patients. I asked for help from them and was told that they are "not that kind of social workers" ZERO help. Building and facilities are old and do no not always smell great. Food is HORRENDOUS. Overall I would suggest finding someplace else for you or your loved one.

My mother was a resident for post-stroke rehab. Our entire experience with the staff--except for the nurses--was unsatisfactory. We were shocked by how unprofessional this facility was from the top down. The care was barely adequate. I gave this facility one star overall because the nurses were fine.

The wonderful customer service started at the front door. Everyone was so kind and helpful. My friend received Quality Care from the wonderful nurses. At times we had to wait for our call Bell to be answered a little longer than we liked but then realized they were taking time with someone who was older than my friend. I highly recommend this facility. My friend returned home fully rehabilitated and able to care for himself.

I was here October of last year when I had my right knee redone and then I had my left knee done and that's why I'm back here. They are really good. The food is so-so, but the therapists and the aides are really good. Whatever you need they do it for you. They have doctors all the time and a couple of nurses. The room has two beds, two closet, two drawers, a TV, a bathroom, and a shower. All in all they are very good.
