The staff at Brightmore of Wilmington is very friendly and accommodating. The facility is very clean. Getting my dad in there was a fairly easy process. They have a large dining room, a pool facility, and a gym. They offer many activities and classes to the residents. They have a library, a courtyard in the front of the building, and a nice veranda with rocking chairs out front. My dad is in a one-bedroom apartment. I think they have washers and dryers for rent, but it's in his apartment. They have hand bars in the shower and bathtub. There is a pull system. If he needs help, he can pull on the cord. They also need to do that when checking in by 10:00 every morning, so that they know that they're up and OK.

Brightmore of Wilmington was very nice. They spent a pretty fair amount of time with us, individually showing us around, introducing the place, and explaining the program. So it's like one-on-one service, which is pretty good. We saw both a studio and a 1-bedroom, they were both very nice, clean and very good. There was a small group of people there doing exercise. They have very nice facilities and they have some nice common rooms for visiting and whatnot. The building is well-kept and in good order. We met the two people, and they were very nice. We saw both independent living and assisted living.

My mother moved into Brightmore. They seemed to have the best programs to meet her needs. They have a lot of activities, they serve three meals, and the food is pretty good. They do her laundry, housekeeping, and they take her to her doctors' appointments.

Brightmore of Wilmington was very nice. I didn?t like the assisted living part as much. It had an odor to it, which I guess most of these places do. The independent facility was very clean. I didn?t really go around the assisted living part, but I wasn?t overly impressed with that place as much as I was with the independent living. The dining area in the independent area was very nice as well as in the assisted living, which was clean and very nice too.

I went to Brightmore of Wilmington. The people were very friendly, but it was little out of our range. Everybody seemed helpful and let us see the dining area and several living spaces. They provided us with a little calendar of activities, on which they had a lot of activities for them to do during the week and at different times during the day. They have crafts and individuals visit.

I visited Brightmore. The staff was fine and very good at what they do. However, the place was so regimented with too many rules. I think they don't know who they're caring for, in all cases. We went to other places where you could have dinner until 8:00, and the meals here were not timed in a good way.

My parent moved in at The Brightmore in October. This was our choice because it was the only one that had independent living here in town. The facility is wonderful. It's rental per month there and all the food and everything else are provided. My parent has a two-bedroom unit with a living room and a kitchen. It is about 1100 square feet. The staff is fine. What I like best about this facility is that she's well taken care of and she is safe and secure. The place is just wonderful.

Brightmore of Wilmington had an independent living area with one meal a day and had a full kitchen. The assisted living area had large bedrooms and served three meals a day. And then, they had the personal care, which was nursing home type of care. They had an indoor swimming pool, water aerobics and more activities that were going on. They also had transportation to take you to doctor's appointments. The staffs that I had contacted with were very nice. I would recommend this facility.
