Penick Village is a very nice, large community. They have several different living arrangements. They have independent living, assisted living, and full-time skilled nursing care. They got everything and more. We had lunch up there. The staff we met were very, very knowledgeable and very kind. The food was excellent.

We had an in-person tour of Penick Village. We like its proximity to the town. We like the facility itself, but we can't get a two-bedroom. They provide new appliances. They redecorate every time somebody moves in. The food was good. It's a nice campus with walkways.

The only one that I visited and liked was Penick Village. It was very clean. The staff was really nice. They were very attentive when I came in unannounced. I like that. It wasn't a smelly place. The people seemed to be comfortable there. The room was a nice size. It was equipped with a television. My mother would be able to bring in some personal things that would make it very homey, and I like that. They have an exercise room. They have activities. They have a beautiful outdoor area which you could go out and sit. They have a nice sitting room. It was very nice. They allow you to come in at any time, they don't restrict you a visit. If you wanted to stay overnight, there would be a nice recliner. They were just very accommodating ,and I really like that.

I am a big fan of Penick Village! As a neuropsychologist in the Pinehurst community, I have had the opportunity to get to know and work with the leadership, staff, and residents at Penick. I am so impressed with the vision Jeff H. (CEO) has for deinstitutionalizing the aging process. Everyone at Penick works together to bring this vision to life with a level of thoughtfulness and sincerity that makes for a very special place. As a doctor committed to improving the cognitive and emotional lives of older adults, I can tell you that it doesn't get better than Penick!

The people we met on the tour we delightful and engaged with my grandmother. They had alot of workshops and activities to help keep everyone busy. Their apartments were real nice and were actually in the middle of expanding a neighborhood of houses to be avaiable. In all the experience was great
