The care my mother received there was second to none. She was reclusive by nature, but the staff went out of their way to engage her. The food manager would come and ask her what she wanted to eat b/c for a time she would not eat. And she made specific food just for her to make her feel special, and she did eat! When she passed away, the were totally compassionate and caring. I could always visit whenever I wanted to or whenever my mom needed me.

There is a meeting within 72 hours of the patient being admitted and then another about a week later. The things I was told my husband would be able to get as an outpatient after he was released was very different between the two meetings. As soon as I said he would not be staying after the initial 20 days that medicare paid 100% it seemed my husband was forgotten. I was supposed to get training for his wound care. the training i got was keep them clean. I was told to contact the facility after he was released to start his outpatient care, I have left 2 messages for the social worker and have not gotten a return call. This was my first experience with a rehab facility. If he ever needs to go to one again, I will look somewhere else. Hopefully they are not all like this.
