Brookdale Salisbury was neat and clean. Looks like it's a good place to live. The staff was very nice. They wanted to know what my income was and they told me that I didn't have enough money to stay there. The building looked very good. The atmosphere was very nice. It's as good as you would want. It's a great atmosphere. It is located on Statesville Boulevard, which carries a lot of traffic. That was one thing I didn't like and I still drive. To me, the room was like a bachelor, like there's one bed and a chair/recliner or something. It was big enough and there was a little kitchenette. The dining area was made to order for several people. It's nice and clean, too.

Our dad and mom have been in Brookdale Salisbury since October 9, 2023. My mother had been hospitalized prior to and her health was extremely poor. She only weighed 73 lbs. In less than two weeks at Brookdale, she gained 24 lbs. God and Brookdale saved her life. They both are enjoying their lives now and me and my siblings are so thankful that we found such a wonderful place for them. They both are enjoying all of the activities, as well as making new friends. The atmosphere is so pleasant. So glad we made this move for them.

The rooms are nice and spacious; updates and fresh paint when my mom moved in. The staff seems to love my mother and that means the world to us! There are several activities that mom enjoys, like playing cards with her friends, BINGO twice a week, and daily exercise classes. She enjoys the dining room as well as the food that's served daily.

My Grandmother has been a resident of Brookdale Salisbury since March of 2023. She is 100 years old and is living her very best life. She absolutely loves visiting with everyone and making new friends. She enjoys her room and watching the birds outside of her window. We are so pleased with Heather and all of the activities that she plans. Although my grandmother is beginning to complain a little about the food she has gained weight and is quite healthy from receiving well planed nutritious meals. She is rarely faced with down time but when she is she reads a lot. She has an accessible library in which she visits quite often. We could not ask for a better facility for her. We rest easy knowing she is enjoying her life to the fullest each and every day.

We have been pleased with our experience here. Sometimes residents aren't aware of opportunities and miss out. We realize no place is perfect. We feel our mother is in a safe environment. When Mother ask for something done in her room, maintenance is right on top of it. It's a shame there seems to be almost a monthly turnover of the helpers for the residents. Activity Director Heather is very good at planning things for residences and very caring with all residents. Breakfast is Mother's favorite meal here. She is not happy with some meals they serve, saying it just isn't good, but I bet every resident has gained weight since moving in. Mother loves the socializing she gets to do. The Library is also a blessing for her as she LOVES to read. I appreciate the opportunity of Mother being taken to her Drs appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I meet them at the Drs office's then Nurses call when finished. It would be excellent if drivers had their own phones for us to call when finished. Most times it is hard to get someone to answer at facility to send driver back to pick up.

My Mom has been at Brookdale Salisbury for 3 years. She has been very well cared for even through Covid. Her room is spacious - we were encouraged to decorate it and make it her home. She feels very safe there and has developed many new friendships. They are very good at building community and plan fun activities for the residents. The staff there has been caring and consistent. I highly recommend Brookdale Salisbury.

My brother is currently living in this facility and they have been wonderful to work with. They were so helpful in his transition from the hospital to resident. The staff is so friendly and seeing the residents interact with them, it seems like a big family. Every time I am there you see the residents in the hall or in the Bistro playing games and interacting with each other. They schedule activities and trips for the residents that want to participate. I highly recommend this facility.

I have my husband at Brookdale Salisbury and I couldn't be happier with how the facility is run , the staff are wonderful and the residents are just precious. Brookdale Salisbury offers a variety of activities for everyone. My first impression when I toured the facility was how bright , clean and cheerful it was. I felt a sense of peace the moment I was there. Now going there a few days every week , I have gotten to know everyone , and you couldn't ask for a nicer staff. Everyone is helpful and so friendly. I'm so pleased with the experience of my husband living there, that I have already told my family , if my needs are assisted living, I would like them to place me at Brookdale Salisbury!

As soon as we got to Brookdale Salisbury, we received a very warm reception. It's a beautiful facility and everyone that came and we talked with was very nice. Dominic was the one that led the tour through the facility. I was extremely impressed with it. However, I know my brother cannot afford it. The size and the layout of the room were great. I don't think they need to be any bigger than that. They were clean. I know they were under construction, but it wasn't messy at all. When we went by, the residents just waved like they were truly glad to see us coming in. This one lady came up to us and asked Dominic if she could just say something and she just raved about the place. I think she'd been there for a couple of years and she said, "There is nothing I can tell you that's not good about this place." They've got very strong recommendations from the people who stay there, too. We saw the spa area and it's nice, and we saw an area that they could go and eat, or they could eat in their rooms. It's personal preference. Then we saw the big room where you could actually schedule it and have a birthday party or something to do with your family. I didn't see anything I didn't like. I wouldn't mind coming here. We really liked it. The outside was beautiful. It's nicely decorated for the fall, and it just looked well maintained as you come up to it. They're doing room-by-room updates. The staff took us into one that had been updated, and took us into another one that is recommended to be painted. And actually, it didn't even look like it needed it. They don't let it get bad. They take care of things.

Brookdale Salisbury was a nice facility. It looked clean and it smelled clean. I looked at a private room and a semi-private room. The semi-private had just two large rooms with a bathroom connecting them for each tenant. The living space seemed spacious, which is important considering my mom's in a wheelchair, so she needs wider spaces. The staff I met was friendly, accommodating, and helpful. They had a little exercise room and a little game room where people congregate, watch TV, and play games. I was happy with what I saw as far as the cleanliness of the place.

Brookdale Salisbury is well-maintained, very, very clean, and a very well-run place. They checked everybody who's coming in and out for COVID signs, as well as their staff as they enter and leave the building. The people were very, very cooperative and went out of their way to help us. Also, the residents that we talked with were very happy with the facility and the treatment they were getting. They have two different sizes of rooms. They can provide therapy up to three days a week, meal assistance, medication assistance, and all the things that most assisted living facilities offer. We saw the food offerings that they have, too, and they looked very good. My cousin has a sister who lives in Salisbury, and so this location was very convenient to her home. Overall, it's a good facility, and it's got all the things that you might want in terms of senior care.

I had an in-person tour of Brookdale Salisbury. It was excellent. They are very knowledgeable and very caring. The facility was nice. The layout was very easy to follow. It wasn't complicated. The staff members talked to me and introduced themselves. They're all very nice and polite. The staff showed me some rooms that where the dining room was, where they play cards or games, and the library. They do puzzles, paintings, and crafts. Everything was very clean. She said they usually put tablecloths on the tables, but they aren't able to yet until this COVID thing is over with.

Brookdale Salisbury was very nice. They offer three meals a day, activities, transportation, and outings when it is not a pandemic. They provide snacks between meals, they check on them every two hours, and they have a doctor in-house that you can use. The staff is very nice. I had been there before with other residents, that's why I went back there to get a tour again. I had dined with them, and their food was excellent. The place was very neat and clean.

Brookdale Salisbury is nice. I would recommend for anybody to stay there. It's just that my dad needed more care than what they can give. It was an outstanding place. They do field trips for the residents, they had a movie nights, and everybody was just interacting with each other and having a good time. Everyone that I interacted with was outstanding. It just seemed like they truly cared about the people that are there. It was a perfect type of community area. The rooms were nice, everything had fresh paint, clean and very organized. From the interactions that I had with the staff, I would rate them a 5. I didn't eat there, but according to the menu and everything that was there, it was like going to a restaurant. They also showed me an exercise room, a lounge area, a theater room and their library.

My father had been a resident at Brookdale Salisbury. It was good. He would still be there, but he fell and broke a rib and he is in rehab center now. The room was very nice. The staff members were good, but the food was not very good. My dad didn't participate in any activities, but they had some exercise class and music. The place was very nice, too.

I had an enjoyable tour in Brookdale Salisbury. Everybody was friendly and I liked the rooms. The staff members that I met were very good and knowledgeable. They told me things I didn't know and I'm grateful for their help. The apartment that I saw was double-occupancy and I liked that very much. You each have your own bedroom and you share the bathroom.

Brookdale Salisbury does not take Medicaid. They charge you by the monthly fee, and if you want the medication, that’s another $600. If you want laundry done, that’s another $200. But the people at Brookdale Salisbury are very nice. They have good rooms, even though they were small. And it’s a good place to live, but you have to be rich to live there. Brookdale is fantastic. The staff were very helpful. When I first went there, the maintenance man took me around, and he sold me. He knows the inside and out. He’s a very caring individual. The rooms were small but very nice. Their cabinets actually have locks on them, where you could put your valuables away and not worry about it. They have lots of windows. When I went there, everybody brought in the colors and decorations and looked like they were having a good time. They had a lot of Bible studies. They have an area for private dinners. If your family is coming over, you could get that room and have a private dinner with them. They have very beautiful grounds. The staff seemed very friendly and confident.

This is a very caring community. They always have smiles on their faces and are super nice to me when I come into the community. If my mother needs anything they go above and beyond to help get it done. I would recommend this community to anyone looking in the area over any other community.
