My mom moved into Accordius Health at Rutherford (Formerly White Oak Manor - Rutherfordton) three weeks ago. They just changed the staff recently. There is a lot more part time staff than full time staff, and we met some very caring part time staff. Even due to the COVID restrictions, they upped their visitation from three people to four. The facility is very clean too. They have a salon area and an activity calendar. I have not seen anybody doing the activities because my mom is bedridden, but they do have something scheduled every day. They gave me the option to put her in a hospital in ICU or continue to stay there. If we move her to the ICU, it would be a lot more expensive. She would not be allowed to have visitors that she has now. Since they have enough skilled nursing staff that I know, we opted to save money and allow her to have more people to visit her in her last days.

My Grandmother had to come to White Oak for rehabilitation when she broke her elbow and pelvis. Since day one they started her physical therapy while managing her pain as well as always asking her if she needs anything and making her feel that she is very important to them. They are saying they think that she is doing amazing and at 91 I have to agree. Everyone at White Oak always greets you with a smile, there are alot of caring & compatienent people on White Oaks' staff. Thank you so much, you are all angels.

The facility is very welcoming and very clean, my grandmother has been here for over a year now and i have no complaints on the staff or the services provided by the staff, the main thing i like about this place is how polite everyone is and how happy my grandmother is staying at this place, she has never been in a nursing home and was scared at first but shortly after being there her opinion on nursing homes had changed and would refer anyone who had to be in one, my grandmother says the food is also very good and is very happy every time i do visit.
