I toured Verena at Bedford Falls. It was extremely clean, had a very modern washer and dryer in every unit, and was pet-friendly. It's fairly new. They offer covered parking like 45 bucks a month. You can also get a garage for $115 a month. Other than this being expensive, I didn't have any dislikes at all. Everybody was extremely friendly. They also told me to stick around and have dinner, and I did. They said they had chef-prepared meals and I got a filet mignon and baked potato. I had a pasta dish but the potato was baked to perfection. The filet mignon, I like medium rare. It came out exactly medium rare and it was on time. The staff was extremely nice and very informative. Several times during the tour she would ask me, "Do you have any questions?" After the tour, she took me back to a room with a table like 7 or 8 chairs, and sat there. She went over everything. She gave me a brochure. She gave me copies of the menu that they use every day. I don't have anything at all bad to say about it. It was extremely good. They had a beautiful pool with a nice area around the pool with chairs if you wanted to get sun or something. The gardens out there were just very, very nice and people were sitting out there enjoying themselves. They had a pool table. They had a theater that was out of this world, the biggest TV I have ever seen in my life, that had to be like an 80 or 100-inch TV. They have all kinds of movies. They have worship services, Catholic and Protestant. I don't know anything about Jewish. They may have been Jewish, but she didn't say anything.

Verena at Bedford Falls was good. There was a little confusion about me going in there for a tour, but they were able to accommodate me and still give me the tour. It's a very nice place. The pricing was a little higher and a little bit more than what my parents needed, but the facilities were relatively new. It was very nice. They only offer two meals a day. They have a lovely pool. It was very much more like an apartment living. They don't have shared laundry. They have laundry in their apartment. I would live there if I needed to.

Verena at Bedford Falls was a nice place, but I don't like where it's located. The tour was thorough and calm. The residents were pleasant. The interior of the building is very nice, not one thing wrong with that building and what it has to offer. Everybody wants to look out for old folks, and I appreciate that. The bedrooms, the living space, the eating space, everything was very nice. As far as the floorplans are concerned, they would fit anybody's needs. They had everything that you would think of, that you might want to be involved with, except they did not have a large outdoor space. Their outdoor space is a parking lot. I just have two things which I don't like about it, the exterior space and the location. They are pet friendly.

I toured Verena at Bedford Falls, and it was a very nice place. I spoke to Jayme who was wonderful. He was very charming and helpful. He could not have done a better job. He was very on time for the appointment. I didn't feel rushed. He answered all my questions. He answered questions before I even had a chance to ask the questions that I had. I was very, very pleased with him and with the facility. I like the fact that it was a newer community, and it seemed like a vibrant community. It was clean. I arrived there while people were still finishing up their lunch. There seemed to be a very nice congenial atmosphere. The staff that would come by, were smiling and greeting everyone. The people that were enjoying lunch in the lovely dining room seemed very happy and engaged with one another. It was decorated very nicely. The rooms were very nice. I looked at the 1-bedroom apartment. I felt that for me, that was a little bit too small because I have a lot of friends that would be visiting and I don't want them to go to a hotel. I'm more interested in the 2-bedroom apartment. The amenities seemed very nice. The common spaces were very attractive. I thought the cleaning staff was very friendly and lovely. I saw the exercise room and I met the hairdresser. I also met the craft woman on the social committee. The people that I met on the elevator and the corridors were smiling and happy, and they knew that I was looking and they were encouraging me to move in.

Verena is a friendly place with residents that enjoy each other at meal times, activities and Happy Hour!! The manager, Vinson, is a "get it done and communicate about it" guy. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Maintenance problems are quickly solved by Tony. Chef Eric provides us with healthy, delicious meals. The women who clean our apartments every two weeks are friendly, careful and efficient. There are well planned activities for all interests, from movies to arts & crafts, to educational and all sorts of games. Outings on the bus take advantage of what the community offers: concerts, restaurants, shopping, museums, etc. We have a beautiful, heated pool with exercise classes plus an exercise room with state of the art equipment. We have a variety of one and two bedroom apartments, each with a spacious balcony. Pets are welcome. My cat and I have enjoyed living here for a year now, and plan to stay as long as I can care for us both.

We did a second tour with Verena at Bedford Falls and we've decided we're gonna go with them. We did a tour with Allison both times. She was very nice. We love her. She's part of the experience and we've talked with other people at the facility who currently live there and they were happy as well. I like the way the rooms were laid out. They were spacious with plenty of windows and openness. I liked the staff that was there. I liked talking to the people who are in there and I liked that it had a full washer and dryer in the unit. Some of the places we toured did not. The food was very good. They had a movie theater, a nice dining restaurant, activities, and an outdoor swimming pool. The residents had a community garden. I liked that they had transportation to the doctors' office and grocery stores and stuff like that. The facilities were very nice and fairly new.

My father, 92, has been a resident of the facility since March 2020 right before COVID restrictions were put in place. I found the staff very helpful in protecting the residents while providing a nice place to live. Dad is starting to meet residents and feeling more connected and he has enjoyed the food provided. The cook is exceptional and the community does have a great vibe.

The Verena at Bedford Falls community seemed very independent. The amenities were very nice and the building and the apartments were well kept. There was a modern sort of vibe to them all, which was nice. It didn't feel like you were walking into a senior living facility, it was very almost resort-like. The amenities are very nice, the quality and the craftsmanship look great. They were modern and well-equipped. The staff seemed very nice. The people that we met, like the activities director, were very personable and very nice. The dining area was great. We actually had lunch there, it was very good, and they had lots of choices. The dining area was bright and modern, not cold, it was warm and inviting.

We went to Verena at Bedford Falls, and we're going back again tomorrow. We visited yesterday, and we were totally impressed with the facility itself, the apartments, the saleslady, Allison, and the activities. Tomorrow we're going to have lunch there with Allison and check it all out again. Our impression was that everything was top notch. We liked the staff and the residents we met. We were totally impressed. We saw a one-bedroom, but it was spacious. We love the floor plan, the closet size, the washer/dryer combination, and the bathroom. Just everything about it was exactly what we're looking for. They had a gym, game rooms, a library, and a restaurant. They had a swimming pool. They had Mexican Train dominoes, card games, a men's group, and a ladies group. They had workout sessions for the ladies in the pool and all things that my wife and I were interested in.

We had a good tour experience in Verena at Bedford Falls. It was brand new, and the units have a good layout. The chef is the old chef from my mom's facility right now, and he has wonderful food.

What a great place to live. During the unique circumstances of the times, the management of Verena has been diligent and professional in following CDC guidelines for safety and health. As an active, senior citizen, living with peace of mind is of paramount importance to me. The compassionate restrictions put in place during the virus have provided that peace of mind. Also, the staff has kept the residents engaged with live music, happy hours, sweet treats, daily puzzles, and theme weeks. All of this activity followed health and safety guidelines. Now, before the virus, what fun we had with outside activities. Wine tasting, art museums, luncheons, symphony attendance, and a host of other activities helped promote community and resident engagement. And, we traveled in the Verena van; no worry about weather or traffic. So, to put it in a nutshell, for me and my wife "It was the perfect fit at the right time." Tom and Betty Taylor

The Aspens at Bedford Falls is brand new and will offer the services we need at a price that we can afford. We'll have all the modern amenities like kitchen, dishwasher, and washing machines in the apartment, but they don't offer three meals a day. The staff has been very nice. It's right off of the Falls of Neuse Road. It's set back far enough that the traffic noise will be minimal, and the apartment locations that we can choose are in the rear of the building, which are even further away from the road.
