I placed my father in Brookdale Monroe Square Memory Care. When I go to visit him, I see that they don't just have him in his room. They have him up and trying to interact with others. I'm able to go there at any time, and there's no problem. I find it to be a clean and friendly facility as well. They play bingo. I've seen a gentleman playing the piano. The other day they were playing Jenga, and they were just enjoying it. They always have them set up and move them to the dining room. It was very nice, and it's always clean.

Brookdale Monroe Square is wonderful. So far, it's been very nice, very clean, and very orderly, and the residents seem happy. The little apartment that my father has is just one room, but he has a roommate there. The rooms are very, very large, so that's very nice. They have a community room and several courtyards, they have two dining rooms that are very nice, and they have some sitting areas in the middle of the building that are nice. Except for the sales manager, I haven't met any of the staff. Based on what I'm seeing, I think it's going to be great.

We chose Brookdale Monroe Square for my mother-in-law, but we brought her back home because she fell twice there and broke her hip. My overall impression of it was not very good because now my mother-in-law is probably going to die. It seemed like the people there talked a good talk, and they seemed caring, but if they're THAT caring, I don't understand how this could have happened? Because it is a memory care unit, the rooms themselves are very simple. I initially felt like it was a very clean place, but over the few weeks that my mother-in-law was there, I did notice a lot of things that were not very clean. The residents themselves looked clean, but like in my mother-in-law's bed, there was either vomit or stool down the one side. And it was there for not just a day, but at least a week. They have activities planned all the time. That part of it, I think, is very good. The food smelled good.

All the help there has really gone above and beyond at Clare Bridge of Monroe. They keep Mom calm and work with her. I like everything about this place. The staff is great. It’s clean. The rooms are fabulous. My mom's room is nice, but it's small. She only got room for her bed, a chair, and a closet. Her bathroom has a commode and a sink, but they do not let her have showers in there, just to make sure she doesn’t fall.

This facility does an excellent job. Staff attitude is great, cleanliness is excellent, and even the food is good. My mother was fortunate to be here for her final years. It's a great comfort emotionally to know she is given the best care possible in very difficult circumstance of Alzheimers.

Very beautiful grounds and spacious rooms. My grandmother was extremely well taken care of on a 24 hour basis. The employee's smile and sincerely care for all of the patients and visitors there. The patients are encouraged to do group activities and have meals catered to their likes. Visiting hours are a bit short but the quality of living couldn't have been better for those that are cared for at Clare Bridge.
