Jacobs Creek is top notch. They love their patients. I have a family member there. They go above and beyond. They treat residents like family. I’ve recently seen, firsthand how another Nursing Home in the area treated their residents. I would not put my family member anywhere else.

Dad has only been at Jacob's Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for a little while. The nurses seem nice, but I haven't met all of them. I went out there last night to bring him some of his stuff, and Dad told me he's starting to not like it. They have an eye doctor that comes there, a foot doctor, a dentist, and a regular primary care doctor, plus they take him if he needs to go his doctors' appointments, which is really convenient. I do his laundry because they charge extra if they do it.

The staff at Jacob’s Creek are very caring, nice, and good to the residents. They do all they can to possibly make them comfortable and meet their needs. My mom is living there now. I saw the meals that they are giving her and most of them looked pretty good. The rooms are two-people rooms, and they also have a room to bring their personal stuff if they wanted to. This is the nicest place I’ve ever been in.

Most of the staff at Jacob's Creek was friendly and seemed to have a caring attitude. They did have activities, but my daddy wasn't able to participate in any of those. Daddy wasn't able to do anything for himself, so he needed more attention than what he could get. They didn't have enough staff to be called up, they maybe need to be faster, and he could have actually used the urinal instead of those pads that they put on him if he had had someone to assist them.

I have a close family friend that was previously a resident of this nursing facility for almost a year. During the time frame of their stay, I visited them approximately three times per month. My friend whom was a resident there enjoyed the staff very much although he did not get along well with many of the patients and sometimes he was ill with the staff due to his own miserable conditions. They were very motivational and encouraging of him to try to help him go through with his physical therapy and they were also very patient with him through his fouler of moods. All in all, it is a very warm, friendly environment that is great for the elderly and those with special needs to be in this environment.
