My mom has moved into Mary's House Family Care Home. We chose them because of the size; there are only four residents. My mom is still confused as to why she's there, but we're working on that. But so far, it seems to be good. She enjoyed the food, so I think it's fine. She has her own room there, it's just a small setting and it's nice. It's winter, so there's not a whole lot of outdoor activity at this time. However, when it's been nice, they have gone outside. She has not complained about the food. It's a very nice facility. I think they're all way overpriced, but the last place she was at, for what they charge, she got minimal care.

I went to Mary's House Family Care Home. I like it, but they don't have a place for my brother. I liked it being closer to my house. It was clean and very nice. The patients they had there were up walking around on their own. They could have a conversation with you. My brother is not able to walk on his own and he is in a wheelchair all the time. It was a nice place, just that it's not what he needed. The staff I met were very dedicated and knowledgeable. The facility was newer than where he is. People seemed very happy to be there. They were content there.
