Everything is well at Lighthouse Village. It's affordable, and my grandfather is doing fine. He's getting along with the staff. They love him, and he thinks highly of them. I don't have any complaints. It's clean, and they've got a 97% sanitation rate. The food is outstanding. My grandfather looks forward to it and he loves it. They make sure he takes his medication. It's well worth it. The bathroom is right by his room.

My 80 year old mother with severe cognitive issues was a resident just under a year at this facility. There was an incident where an administrator admitted that one of the staff members had threatened my mother and that employee would be dismissed, and I would receive an email confirming action had been taken. I never received proof that she had been dismissed. In another incident a staff member ask to borrow money from my mother and wouldn’t take no for an answer. In my opinion this is not a safe facility. Threatening the residence is unacceptable!

Lighthouse Village is an older place. They don't have bathrooms in the rooms. They have community-type bathrooms and showers. The residents are super friendly. As soon as I went in the front door, they had the staff saying hi to me. They have activities. It is an OK community and the price is extremely reasonable. Lighthouse Village doesn't have as much as far as amenities but it is just so friendly. To me, that would make up for some of the other things. It doesn't have a lot of extra things but it is extremely friendly that it makes you want to be there. It is assisted living and all-inclusive. The dining area is more of a cafeteria style. Some of the rooms are two people to a room, but you can get a room to yourself. A lot of the residents were in the central room watching TV together. Well, because of the price and how friendly it was, it is one of my top three choices.
