Kirkwood Retirement Community is an independent living retirement community for seniors who are 62 years old and older. The apartments are situated in 10 low-rise buildings spread out over 10+ acres of land, providing seniors with plenty of outdoor space. Professional staff is on-site in case of an emergency and maintenance staff are always available to assist with maintenance issues. Residents can choose between three different floorplans studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments.

The community offers a range of amenities and activities for the enjoyment of residents. Activities offered include arts and crafts clubs, fitness classes, trips to local restaurants and bingo. Amenities on-site include off-street parking, a laundry, a residents lounge and a media room. The rent in the apartments is based on the resident's income.
