This facility is a nightmare! No one's ever available, nurses rarely check in on the patient. When you call no one ever answers the phone. My spouse is currently a patient, they keep him in bed all day. He's been a patient now for 5 days and due to his blood pressure concerns, they've not started any therapy at all. Logic would tell you if you cannot assist the patient due to other health issues then to make arrangements to return them back to the hospital for the necessary care needed. My husband was admitted to the V.A, hospital due to congestive heart failure, pulmonary issues and elevated blood pressure. There is no way to reach the doctor at the facility overseeing my husband care while at the facility for inquiries, they have not considered transferring him back to the hospital since they are not equipped to handle the issues concerning my husband. He gets no exercise, nurses rarely come to room to check on him, the dietary department is also lacking! Simply ... I would highly recommend NOT utilizing this facility if you care anything at all for your loved ones! It's been a nightmare!

I've called several times to speak with the nurse and nurse was never available to answer my call, no matter the time or day, i left my number and never received a call back, i know nurses may be very busy during shift change but there's absolutely no reason to continuously avoid someone call.

I RECENTLY VISITED THIS FACILITY. WHILE THERE I NOTICED THAT THE STAFF WAS LAGGING AROUND DOING EVERYTHING BUT TAKING CARE OF THE PATIENTS. ONCE I GOT INTO MY RELATIVES ROOM I NOTICED THAT SHE WAS SLUMPED OVER IN THE BED ABOUT TO FALL OUT. MY RELATIVE STATED THAT SHE HASN'T HAD A BATH IN DAYS. I ALSO NOTICED THAT HER FOOD TRAY WAS SITTING IN FRONT OF HER AND HER FOOD WAS COLD. MY RELATIVE CAN'T FEED HERSELF SO THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO BREAK HER FOOD UP INTO SMALL PIECES AND ALSO FEED HER. SEEING THAT THEY WEREN'T EXPECTING ANYONE TO POP UP THAT DAY THEY DIDN'T CARE. THE ROOM WAS DIRTY AND HADN'T BEEN CLEANED IN GOD KNOWS HOW LONG. WHEN SPEAKING TO THE NURSES NOTHING ADDED UP. THE NURSES WERE CAUGHT UP IN SO MANY LIES. THOSE PEOPLE THERE DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT THE MONEY. PLEASE DON'T TAKE YOUR RELATIVES THERE AND IF THEY ARE THERE PLEASE TAKE THEM OUT BEFORE ITS TOO LATE. WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF REMOVING OUR FAMILY RELATIVE NOW.

My father is cared for at this facility. I wanted to write a BIG thank you for all the wonderful caregivers. I am having pizza delivered Wednesday around 1 pm for the wonderful staff who care for my dad. He will be 90 years old this month. Since I can't visit him, I thought I should thank all the people that take such good care of him. Again THANK YOU ALL!!!! Susan Berry - grateful daughter.

Nasty facility, Short staff every night and weekend. Therapy workers are outsource from another country. Since the private owner sold the building my father's care declined. I was do glad when I found him a better place to live.

My mother stayed at Woodlands for about 45 days, and I would visit everyday. They had a good staff. She had a nice room, and their dining room was laid out nicely. The food looked nice. They had a lot of different activities -- some she could participate in, others she couldn't. The security was good. It was locked up, and they had an alarm system. If you have a family member there, you can have a code to get in.

Always ready to work with family to help make patient comfortable. Willing to do testing we ask for according to my husbands disease. Very helpful and willing to listen and take action quickly. We had husband at another home and this one is so much better.
