My mom is at Pruitthealth Elkin. The progress was good to start with, but after a light setback, it's not been so good, so we're kind of up in the air. The staff is very nice. During the holidays, they were very short-staffed though. My mom has a shared room this second visit because they didn't have a private one open. So that was very crowded trying to get a wheelchair and a walker in there. They have a schedule of what goes on and they have a lot of planned activities, but she is not able to participate. They have a physical therapy room. It's a big open room. The building is nice. It was very beautifully decorated for Christmas. They had a Christmas party for the residents. Of course, my mom wasn't able to participate but it was nice. And some of the churches had gift bags made for the residents and everybody got a gift bag, so it was nice.
