My aunt was there. Staff were friendly and attentive. Rehab team got her back to doing things for herself that she hadn’t done in years.

The rooms are awful. The front of the door on my moms bedside taken is falling off. No emesis basin, no tissues, no water pitcher, no wash cloth to wash her face. My moms nurse had a attitude when I tried to ask her a question. She is in the rehab part of the center. She had no tv control. She got to the center Friday Sept 2. Erica was wonderful. She helped us with my moms problems. It is too many things to say how bad this place is. I am so upset.

Our Grandmother stayed here for a little over three months after recovering from a traumatic brain injury. She was treated with antipsychotics long-term and labeled as Schizoaffective, developed stage four pressure ulcer, pressure wound on the heel, double pneumonia, and sepsis. The only positive about this facility is their Speech Therapist, Hope. She is fantastic and really loves working with her patients.

My mother is currently a resident at the Brian Center Eden. She is currently receiving rehab after having a stroke. Since her stay there the staff members have taken care of her as if she was family. I strongly recommend sending your family members there if you need rehab. My mother has made so much progress since her arrival. They are talking about us taking her home soon. Great job Brian Center Eden!!

I recently had a family member at Brian Center Eden. The staff was very helpful and compassionate when it came to my uncle. He was well taken care of while he was there during his rehab stay. I would strongly recommend if you have a loved one that needs to go to a facility that you choose Brian Center Eden cause they treated me and my uncle like family.

I am very happy with the Brian Center Eden and for their caring staff as I was trying to find a place for my mother. They were so very helpful from the admin staff to the nurses making her transition effortless. Rooms are spacious and upgrades to the facility are going on to make it even better. The nurses are very nice and patient when mom has a bad day. She loves the activities from bingo, painting pictures to getting her nails painted. It is the little things in life that make a patients day and they go above and beyond to make that happen for them. I feel very comfortable talking to the staff about my mom and they make me feel welcome when I go to visit her. I am very blessed to have my mom at the Brian Center Eden.

After 8 months in the Brian Center my father passed away in November. While there were some aides who were very kind to him, there were others that were not. They often let him sit for long periods of time in dirty depends. They set him in the hallway because he was a fall risk and wouldn't cover him or put pants on him. My mother had to pay $8000 per month because they sold their house right before he went in so he wasn't covered by Medicaid. Now, they owe my mother over $3000 and keep telling her she owes something for this or that and she has to pay before they will give her the refund. They have a charge for 'wheelchair training' that they can't explain, but expect her to pay. He couldn't even sit in a wheelchair, the only chair he was ever in was the one in the room which they would roll into the hall. Mom is still taking care of my disabled sister and in February my nephew, her grandson, went into the hospital for a brain tumor biopsy which bled into his brain causing a stroke. He is still in the hospital, and so she is dealing with all of this on top of the baloney the Brian Center is giving her. She is 85 and I get so angry at these people. I went with her while I was in NC and tried to get something that made sense from the financial administrator, but she just kept saying she wasn't there in November and so has no idea why this is taking so long. If you find yourself at the point where you have to put a loved one in a home, do everything you can to keep them out of here.

When I first walked into the facility, I was overwhelmed at how many residents were there. It felt more like a business than a nursing facility and residents were pushed up and down the hall like clockwork. It was almost like walking in traffic. You had to dodge nurses that were pushing the elderly. The expressions on the resident's faces were enough to startle me. They all seemed sort of vacant, like whatever life they had was washed out of them in this facility. Digging deeper into the nursing facility, I found that the staff was very competent in doing their tasks and downright speedy about it. But I felt that the staff lacked the compassion that should be shown towards the residents. Although I do understand that there has to be a detachment towards a patient population that will eventually pass away. Overall, my experience with this facility was fair. They offered great physical care of my great-grandmother, but the environment was not mentally stimulating.
