My husband stayed at Conover Nursing and Rehab Center. During the time that he was there, he was doing rehabilitation because he had a fall. The rehabilitation I thought was excellent. He was only there for two and a half weeks, but the whole time they made sure that he was doing everything that he needed to be done for him. The staff was caring, like they wanted the best for him.

DON'T GO HERE !!!!! Had a family member here after a stay in the hospital. Needed physical therapy which was not fulfilled. an example of the practices that were observed were to serve breakfast and a few minutes into eating physical therapy team member would stop by the room to say "are you ready to go for your physical therapy for the day?" to which family member and other would reply "Yes, but can I finish my breakfast first please" physical therapy would be agreeable and say they would be back and would never return only to check there medical record to say the patient refused for the day making them ineligible. Also, and most importantly family member and family visitors caught a healthy case of PNEUMONIA that needed to be treated. Our family member after the care they RECEIVED at this "wonderful" establishment wound up back n the hospital 5 or so days after being discharged to go home .... now, after reading this till the end if you decide to go to this place it will prove that you are crazy. STAY AWAY.

My mother went to Conover Nursing and Rehab Center. Out of the three she's been in, it was the best one. I have nothing bad to say about the facility except for when you walk in, everybody's out there for you, but once you check them in, they don't care about you anymore. The receptionist was so nice and polite until I signed the papers. The facility was very clean, and the food looked appetizing. The staff was okay, but not the best. They would take her anywhere, they kept her busy, and she went to physical therapy. She wasn't just sitting in her room.

My husband's stepmom is in Conover Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She has her mind, but she's physically not in shape, so they have to do everything for her. She is in a wheelchair. They're really good. She needs 24-hour care and has to wear Depends, and they bathe her. She will go play bingo every once in a while. She has been in there since last October, and my husband's dad was also there for a little while.
