My mom stayed at Springbrook Rehabilitation & Nursing Center for rehab. She was there for a month. They helped her get on a medication schedule. They helped her with physical therapy and occupational therapy. The staff were very caring and professional. It was extremely clean, and I didn't have any issues with maintenance. The room was very spacious with a very large bathroom conducive to proper hygiene and teaching patients how to be more independent. The food was adequate. However, there was only one person I had problems with, but everyone else was wonderful. They need more attention to admitting especially making sure that all the medications were on hand before the patient was admitted.

I have visit my family friend while she was receiving rehab care from the facility. I have to say the facility is very beautiful, and the care was great. Unfortunately my friend had developed multiple skin problems while being there and bandages didn’t get changed regularly. I know they have a wound care nurse that goes around but I don’t think she actually does anything about a problem. The floor nurses were the ones that would help or come address the situation when I had questions or concerns of my friend’s skin.

Springbrook Rehabilitation & Nursing Center has been very excellent. It's a newer facility, or at least it looks new. It's very clean, the walls are nicely painted, and the grounds are nicely cared for. I like the bird feeders out in front of the windows, and they keep up with the grounds. It seems very modern, and at the same time it's well kept, so it's nice. Everyone's been very nice to me and my mom. They are a little short-staffed, but it's worked out well for my mom because she has a little bit of mobility, so she can get to the bathroom on her own when they're not coming quickly. I think the staffing issue is kind of a problem, which is the same for all the facilities right now is what I've understood, but that would probably be their only downfall, but I don't think it's their fault. I think it's just a problem right now. Just from talking to my mom, I think she likes the food. The facilities are very good.

My husband was in Springbrook Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was there from September to the end of February or early March. We could never go in to see him, and I don't think he was mistreated there, but I do feel that he was neglected. He had two gold rings that disappeared before he left there. We did file a police report, and we haven't gotten them back yet. They said before the weather got cold that you could visit outside, and they'd push him out on the porch for about five-to-ten minutes, but they never had him out there on time. They wouldn't call me back. They'd always say they were in a meeting. The cost was not cheap and in fact, they wanted the money before the end of the month, and I didn't know that.

My mom is at Springbrook Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. It's a nice, clean, and good community. The staff seemed to get momma cleaned up, fed well, and up for physical therapy and occupational therapy every day, so I have no complaints. They also make sure I get the information I need about momma. The food is delicious, too. I can't go inside because of COVID, but when she was there a year ago, I could taste the food, and they had really good food. It was a nice, hot, and nutritious kind of food. Their dining area is not like a cafeteria, it's more like a hotel setup. They have tables and a bar where the food is and where they do the hot meals. It's really nice. She has a semi-private room, and she has a roommate. It has two beds in it, and she's near the door, so I have to let her know that I'm going to the window to see her. It is an efficient nursing home, and she adjusted well there.

I have been to Springbrook several times. This last visit, the patient care from most of the CNA's was wonderful. But, the nursing staff was far from responsive or caring. There was always long waits for care and attitudes from the nurses. I personally once had to l lay in bed for over 4 1/2 hours covered in my feces wait to be cleaned up by the Charge Nurse. I really liked the facility up until this last visit. I had to eventually look for a new rehabilitation center and be transferred to a different place. The Rehab there is awesome,. But Spring Brook Rehabilitation has gone downhill quickly. I hope they recover and become once again the place to go for inpatient treatment.

My sister went to Springbrook Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. It's a huge building and I don't like having to walk those corridors, but it's very clean because it's new. If a person were to get well then leave, then she was left alone in her room. If somebody came, then she would have a roommate. It was not private. Some people complained about the food, but the care was good, and the girls seemed attentive. I saw them going back and forth to the rehab and to the gym. Everything was fine.
