The Sharon at SouthPark was very nice. I visited a friend there. I like the cleanliness, the residents' suites, the activities that they have for the residents, and the community areas. Everyone is very nice and very helpful. As we were trying to locate my friend, they were very nice. Everyone knew each other. They were polite in the halls. In the community areas, they all talked and spoke and offered good cordials. I haven't heard any complaints about the food from my friend, and they have amenities, too. They have an art class, there's a dance, there's church services, and there's a library as well. I'm pretty sure they have so much more because I think there are activities every day. It's very nice and maybe it is worth the money, but it's too much. They offer a lot, but I just wish the cost of these facilities could be a little bit more affordable for people who don't have all of the means to take care of their loved ones. However, it is a very cozy and very homey atmosphere, and I think the residents all enjoy it and enjoy each other.

I explored Sharon Towers and was interested in them, but since they’re building right now, it is about a year to a year and a half before they will have anything ready. The facilities are very, very nice. Everything is good there, but they did not take note of my long-term care policy, which will roughly pay for everything I need if I need long-term care. The atmosphere was very pleasant, though. I did not see any of the rooms because they did not have everything available. I have seen the floor plans, so I have an idea of what they have. The staff and everybody that I met were very professional and very pleasant. It would be a good place to go, but it was a bit more expensive by comparison to other facilities. The facility itself would be a good 4 or 5 stars. They have some older buildings and some newer buildings. I think some of the newer buildings would be much more pleasant. Everything is very easily managed. The hallways were all large, and there were plenty of rooms for several people to move through easily, especially if they have walkers.

During my Aunt's stay at this facility I was completely impressed by the upkeep of their grounds. She had been sick from cancer and was unable to safely care for herself given the manner in which her medications effected her physically and also gave a bit of dementia as a side effect. This facility has all kinds of different types of living arrangements. It can range from apartment type living to cottage/village living in appearance. The grounds are kept well, flowers always bright and in bloom. There are club areas for the residents to associate with each other in, also the dining area make my aunt feel as though she was being catered to. Between the gourmet dishes and extremely healthy food menu choices, she calls on a constant basis just to inform me about how much healthier she is starting to feel. And while she is a very religious woman, she is impressed with their chapel and on site minister.

Sharon Towers has a beautiful, welcoming campus and amenities. It allows residents to stay for as long as possible in assisted living residences, but also provides 24/7 nursing care to residents needing the additional support. The staff were all very nice, kind, and understanding. They listened to my comments and provided excellent feedback about my friend.

I visited Sharon Towers with a friend, whose Grandmother lived in the facility. It is a high rise style facility, located in the SouthPark area of Charlotte, Immediately I was impressed with the cleanliness and updated decor of the facility. It had a very classy feeling to it, much like a more upscale hotel. My friend's Grandmother's apartment was really nice. It provided adequate space for her to enjoy as her own home yet was small enough that she was able to manage some of the organizing, housecleaning, etc. herself (which she enjoyed doing). Staff were also very available to assist her with such tasks and her apartment was very neat and clean in appearance. The common dining hall was really pretty and the woman I was visiting stated that she really enjoyed the meals they served there. It had a nice, open feeling to it and was also extremely neat and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I saw at least two staff members greeting residents by name and smiling as they were completing their work. There are plenty of activities available in this facility and even shuttle bus service for things like shopping, church, and resident outings planned by the activities staff. Overall I would say this is a wonderful facility and I would highly recommend it.
