My husband and I have lived in an estate home since it's opening in November 2013. This community of around 250 people is a vibrant and caring mix of younger and older people. Many of these well educated and well traveled people moved here from across the country to be closer to family. There is a very wide mix of interests and talents supported by our activities and wellness staff. Our healthcare facility will be expanding this year.

What I like about Searstone iss the overall layout of the building and the amenities that they have like eating and exercising. They charge you a huge upfront fee that you have to give them to get into the place and they give it back to you after you die or somebody else in their family. It's high cost more than I think. You have to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to get in that place. I only met a few people, and they are all very good at what they do. They know their business. They know what's going on. They know how to deal with seniors coming in there. From what I see, I give them a top-level rating. They're adding 150 more rooms to their place. I would give them a five based on construction and all the other stuff going on. They have a pool, a fitness center, fishing, other activities, and pool tables. They had a lot of different things.

Searstone was probably the top of the line in terms of quality and amenities. The cost of it was reflected in the services that they offered. They've established themselves to be a high level of care within Cary, both physically and in terms of amenities, which includes accommodations and food. The apartments were wonderful. They offered a variety of physical and social activities.

We had a very good experience touring Searstone. The facility was very nice. The two bedroom, two bath was beautiful. The staff was excellent and they did excellent follow-ups with us. The restaurant and exercise facility was very nice. The overall feel of the place was a good one.

We toured SearStone. It is beautiful. They had an indoor pool, a beautiful billiard room, and a restaurant inside. The sales director was excellent as far as giving us information and prices. They had houses, villas, and little patio homes with garages, but we weren't able to go into one. The staff told me that they had a lot of clubs and different restaurants. There's a little pond inside the courtyard area. It was very luxurious. I was really impressed with them. They're very expensive, but they're very highly rated. The staff was great. The community was really nice.

SearStone was very good and they offered just about everything. They have restaurants, an exercise room, cafes, and a few other things. I saw their two-bedroom with a living room and it all looked very nice. The person who assisted me with the tour was nice.

SearStone is fairly new and really nice, but I don't like it because it looks like a hotel. They have an Olympic-sized swimming pool and a glamorous 5-star restaurant. I visited some friends there a couple of times. The rooms are apartments, and you can bring your own stuff. They have a really nice exercise room, a shopping area on the main floor, and shopping areas nearby.

My mother is in assisted living at Searstone. It’s pretty nice, and it has like condos and apartments, and as you progressed or age out, they have assisted living and skilled nursing. The staff is phenomenal; in terms of their skills, the nurses were all RNs, and there are on-site doctors. They’re just beyond belief in terms of how they treat people in general; they are incredibly helpful. The dining area is very homey with linen table cloths. They have a private dining room for people that have guests. They have all sorts of clubs, and they have a health center and pool. They do exercise classes; it’s a pretty incredible facility.
