This is a very good rehab center. The rooms are single private and roomy. The facility is clean and does not smell like a nursing home. The nursing staff is caring and very knowledgeable. The axillary staff are kind and friendly. I would highly recommend this facility if you need rehab. They offer various activities that you can choose to join as you are able.

My mom is in The Laurels of Summit Ridge. It's been good. They are good and they take good care of the patient and everything, that's the main thing. They got good food and they're good to the patient. It's just convenient. My mom says the food is good. I've not been on the inside; you can't go in as they're in a quarantine. It's also expensive.

Having worked in facilities in both nursing & administrative capacities, we never thought we would have to use the facilities for our own personal experience. After having a stroke, we found ourselves needing physical therapy. My wife works at the Summit & felt that they could & would help me get back on my feet. Thanks to the all the staff with special thanks to Hala, Janice,Sarah &Kellye (dietary) Genny ,Charles Fox, Allison,&Virginia(therapy) Jennifer R.,Jennifer P, Sheryl, Eva T Keri, Emily( nursing). Our sincerest thanks to all the staff at the Laurels of Summit Ridge. I wish I could thank everyone by name but there are just too many to call by name. The staff makes you feel like family because they are family. I am on the road to recovery thanks to the staff at the Summit

This facility is a smaller one that provides excellent care to each of it's patients. PT and OT are designed around what the individual patient needs. We are treated as individuals not just generic population of people. The food is good and always ontime. Plenty of recreation time planned to keep guests busy and not bored. The staff has been a tremendous part of my recovery. They are all personable and caring. Highly recommend this for anyone needing this type of care.

Choosing a nursing facility isn't always an easy choice or easy to do. They are the business no-one wants to use. The Laurels of Summit Ridge was a very pleasant experience for my family member and I. The staff work hard and knowing that they work as hard as they do and likely don't get paid what they are worth to be away from their family and take care of mine I am VERY thankful!! I visited several facilities in the area and hands down would choose no other facility than Summit Ridge! I thank each and everyone of the staff from housekeeping to nursing. You guys do a wonderful job!! Thank you so Much!

Laurels of Ashewood Manor (The Laurels of Summit Ridge) is very good and we're very happy. The staff is very good, caring, and compassionate. They're a little short staffed sometimes, but I'm still very happy with them. The grounds are beautiful and I'm about six or seven minutes away. My wife's room is beautiful. It has a carpeted floor, pictures on the wall, nice furniture, and a nice view. The food is excellent.

I have a family member in this facility and forget it. I have gone in to see my family member and he stunk so bad the flies were swarming around him. There seems to be no management there that seems to care what happens to patients. My family member can ring the call bell and maybe 30 minutes later they may come. Staff seems to be just wondering around or laughing at the Nurses Station. IT's best to find somewhere else to put your family member.

My father-in-law was a resident at The Laurels at Summit Ridge in early 2015. He was there for post surgery rehab. We found the second floor rehab facilities crowded and chaotic - not at all conducive to recovery. Inappropriate drugs were prescribed by the resident physician without our permission. Staff informed us that this "should have never happened" when we questioned them. We found the rehab director to lack basic caring skills. We found the facility director to be a fatalist. Fortunately we were able to place my father-in-law in another facility where his recovery accelerated exponentially compared to The Laurels. I would rate our experience with The Laurels as the worst health care experience we have encountered with any family member.
