My grandfather-in-law is getting rehab at the Hudson Hill Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. What I like best is the social worker that's there. She makes things happen, and we've been dealing with her. She's an epitome of beauty. There's a gentleman that's about 65 that takes care of him. He comes in at certain times before he has to eat, knowing that he probably pooped himself so that he can clean them before he can eat. I don't know what his position is, I don't remember what his name is, but he is just a wonderful human being. They have a full schedule of things, but my grandfather-in-law is usually not interested. They have activities. They have stuff planned. They have a calendar full of things that they have going on there.

The staff on the 5 th floor is rude. If you call your loved one they hang up on you IF they answer the phone at all. The social worker is even worse!! Does nothing to get involved or help and has zero interest the job. Many items go missing/ stolen and nothing done about it.

A very bad place. Residents rights are trampled all over. There is harassment of residents. The building is understaffed and residence suffer for lack of proper care. Some residents sit in soiled garments for hours. Call bells are not always answered in a timely way. The care given is not caring but rough. They forget they're dealing with fragile people. Overall I suggest that you look elsewhere for your loved one or yourself.

Regency nursing home doesn't even deserve one star!!!! The amount of neglect is truly horrific!!!! If you actually love your family member this Isn't the place to bring them!!!! The social worker supervisor is tremendously disrespectful and unprofessional. Seems to me that she got crossed trained. Not to mention how unsanitary this place is. This nursing home should be shut down. The state should step in and take a good look at this horrible nursing home.

HORRIBLE!!!! My mother-in-law has been in this facility for only a few days and we are already trying to get her transferred to another facility. Nursing staff and aides are mean, lack compassion and are not following basic instructions from Drs. Night staff is horrific, refused to help my mother-in-law get out of bed to use bathroom at night!!! My poor mother-in-law called us crying, stated that one nurse's aid appeared to be drunk or high and was mocking her, and refused to assist her. This is a HORRIBLE place.

The place is absolutely dirty! Poor service, can never get in touch with social workers. They have mice and roaches. The food is horrible and cold and half the time they only offer cheese sandwiches or peanut butter sandwiches.

I have a lot of difficulties getting a social worker to call me back. My mother was injured & I've been calling to find out what happened. Leave messages. Have not gotten a call back for over a week.

My friend had been in a hospital. When she was released, she went into Regency Extended Care Center for a few months. It's a good facility and the care was appropriate.
