Buckley Landing was very nice. It was a lovely place that my mother would be happy in. The staff was very friendly, open, and communicative. They're very cordial, helpful, and cooperative. The facility seemed clean and well-kept.

I visited on 9-25-15...there was not a reception area to greet or direct you. The sitting area to the left was clean with several residents sitting there but definitely smelled of urine with not much communication going on. The apartment was clean and well organized.

The people were friendly. The rooms were bigger than the other place we visited, but I wasn't as comfortable here in Buckley Landing. When you walk in, there is not a reception area. You're automatically in the middle of the dining area, and it just seemed kind of cluttered and chaotic. Their reception area is at the back of the building, and I don't find that really welcoming. The rooms were very nice. The staff seemed supportive and caring, and the residents were all busy doing all sorts of things.

I went to Buckley Landing and it was a large place with about 80-100 people. It seemed crowded for me and the rooms were small. It also seemed like a nursing home than an assisted living facility. Maybe they had long-term care people there, but I was not sure because I was not able to go that far. It was clean. I had the impression that the people did not look too happy.
