My father moved into the Christian Fellowship House, and it doesn't feel like an institution. It has more of a homey feel, almost like a large bed and breakfast. The grounds are really beautiful, and my father loves nature. They play a lot of music all day. My father loves music, so overall it doesn't have an institutional feel. The people are really warm and lovely. My father really likes the food. The place is beautiful, and the grounds are just perfect.

The Christian Fellowship House was very nice. The person who took us through was very pleasant and showed us all the rooms and areas that would be used by the person staying there. The rooms are very accommodating and have a very nice setting. She was able to answer all our questions without a problem and took a lot of time explaining how everything worked for the facility. We went during lunch hour, so we just got to see how the people were in the dining area.

Christian Fellowship House was a wonderful place. It was a 10-acre site, and it was fully encapsulated. We loved the facility, and it was reasonably priced. There were only 48 beds. They had single rooms and shared rooms. The staff took us through the entire facility. Each time we went there, they were very accommodating.

Christian Fellowship House was assisted living. It was more like a bed and breakfast. It was not like the others. It was an old, big mansion. It was very nice, and they had dogs. They had animals outside. They had the horses and the stables. They had separate apartments. You have your bedroom, and everybody comes down for meals. You have to pull to get the gate of the elevator closed. Barely two people could fit in there, but they have a stair chair that goes up. The staff were all great. The residents were all walking around. Everybody seemed really nice and really friendly. I don't think there was anything to improve. It was very nice and very clean. You could have a TV in your room, but they don't have them.

I really liked the Christian Fellowship House. This is a place where I feel like you have to kind of live close by because the location is very difficult to get to. I had to literally drive around a few times before I couldn't figure out where exactly it was. It's not easily accessible on the main road to get there. I literally did not choose this place because I feel like none of my family members would actually drive there. The rooms were absolutely excellent. It's very homey. They have very nice comforters. It's set up like your own home, like you would not feel like you're in a facility. They have a dining area where everyone eats. They have a living room area where people sit down. It had real furniture, like someone's home. It's very nice. It's not really a place for people who are in wheelchairs or if your parent is a fall risk. When you're going into the bedrooms on the second floor, the hallways were very narrow and there were steps. I feel like it's a big fall risk for people who may be a little unsteady on their feet. That's just kind of how I felt since my dad is kind of like in between, sometimes he's in a wheelchair, sometimes he can get up and use a walker. I just felt like it would be too much of a fall risk for him. Everyone working there looked happy. The residents looked happy. It was a very nice place. I really liked the people there. The room that my father would have gotten would have been perfect. I didn't expect it to be as nice when I first got there because it was like in the middle of the woods, kind of creepy and scary, but once you get inside, it's like a completely different situation.

I toured Christian Fellowship House. It was nice. The setting is beautiful. The staff were warm and friendly. They have a lovely place for any senior that is more mobile. The rooms are homey, warm, and friendly. The facilities looked wonderful. They have nice programs for seniors. They have a nice deck area, too.

I went to tour the Christian Fellowship House for my dad, I thought it was a very positive experience. They have a very home-like setting. They have really lovely and knowledgeable staff. Since it's a smaller environment, it's very home-like for the people who reside there. You could tell that they're well-cared for. It could even be considered that they provide skilled nursing facility-level of care for their residents, so that they don't have to leave that facility at any point, and that they can live the rest of their lives there. The staff who gave the tour's name was Pam, and she was wonderful. She couldn't have been nicer to me, she was very forthcoming, and she offered to help me even if I didn't choose that facility if I had questions about other facilities. She was very forthcoming and very transparent about everything. There are some roommate situations there, which was not what we prefer. They made an effort to have that cozy kind of feel for people so that it didn't feel like they were living in a nursing home or a hospital setting. I saw the dining facilities, I saw the social areas and there was a room where they were doing art projects. I didn't eat the food but I saw people dining for lunch at that time. It's a round table setting. The people who can socialize sat together and the people who were less social or less able to socialize just tended to be grouped also.

The people at Christian Fellowship House seemed very nice, but they had very few single rooms and it was far away from my house. The staff seemed very nice. I don't think they had too much going on. They had a beauty parlor and a nice courtyard. They had a beautiful property. It was old, but it looked clean.

My mother-in-law has moved into Christian Fellowship House. You have to have a COVID test to visit in person. We chose this place because it was a small personalized type of place and it was economical. I haven't seen her yet, and she has just moved, however, their communication is very good, and they will get back to you right away. They have the typical activities like music, bingo, and other stuff. We saw the outside, and it was beautiful and well kept. It is located in a very peaceful area.

My Mom has been a resident for seven years and has received excellent care the entire time. The staff is caring and considerate, even during the horrible year we have had with Covid. We were well informed of status and the staff has followed all guidelines to protect the residents and staff. Having experienced another facility prior to CFH, I can tell you that CFH care is far superior.

My mom has been at the Christian Fellowship house for three years. This place is great and beautiful! They really care a lot if they think there’s an issue they call you. She shares a room and has a pretty view of the horses in the back. During non Covid they had exercise classes, word games. My is always clean and has her hair done pretty..I definitely recommend this assisted living. !

The staff at Christian Fellowship are wonderful. They truly care about the resident and treat them like family. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is just like a bed and breakfast. The grounds are gorgeous and well maintained. There are so many activities they provide for the resident to keep them busy and engaged. The annual holiday party is something to look forward to for the resident and their family.

My mom is has been a resident of Christian Fellowship House for almost 2 years. I had looked at several other facilities before deciding on CFH. The assisted living facility is housed in a converted mansion on beautiful grounds. It is a smaller facility, so it feels more like a home. The bedrooms and living areas are well appointed. There are always activities available for those who wish to participate. The staff is wonderful and will go out of their way to assist you with whatever concerns you may have. This is an independent and family run business and you can see this in the level of care they offer. Mom is very happy and content here.

My mom is staying at Christian Fellowship House, and they're very accommodating. She's been there a couple weeks now, and they have been updating me on her progress. Every time I call, they're more than informative. They don't give you a quick, "Oh, she's fine" and then hang up. They really will sit there on the phone with you and answer any questions you have. I didn't get to see the entire place because of Covid, but from what I saw, it was a nice, safe-looking facility, and she seems to be doing well there. I know they have a salon in the facility, and they have stables and horses, too.

We saw Christian Fellowship House, but it turned out not to be a good fit for my mom because most of the rooms do not have bathrooms in the bedroom itself, and it's too much for her to walk down the hallway to use a restroom. It was a lovely, very nice place. The grounds were beautiful, and the staff was friendly. The downside was the layout of the rooms, most of the rooms were double rooms as opposed to single, and the bathrooms were down the hall.

My mother-in-law was a resident for two years prior to her passing. While able to walk with a walker independently when she entered, she had dementia and needed a good deal of assistance with daily living. The staff and management were wonderful, giving her dignity and understanding her personal preferences in food, activities, etc. The facility is on 10 beautiful acres and offered serenity for my mother in law who had enjoyed her sitting out viewing her own backyard before needing to relocate. My wife and I were always confident that Mildred was safe and receiving excellent, personalized care. This place is an answer to prayer. It has only +/- 45 residents and a very attentive, loving staff.

We chose Christian Fellowship House for my mother. It's like a mansion that's been converted. She has improved there, and she has that feeling of comfort and security. Her stress level is a lot lower, so she's much more interactive. This was a very good move for her. It reminds her of her family. It has elements of things that are reassuring. It's a very quiet community. The whole area is very mellow and quiet and it's a really good fit for her. The staff is very interactive and on top of things. The food seems to be pretty good. She hasn't complained about it. The activities are enough to engage her. It's very good. She seems to be pretty content with everything.

I wasn't impressed with Christian Fellowship House. The people were not motivated to do well. The staff member came up, introduced themselves to me, and told me that when I live there they'll provide me with a buddy to show me around and I can ask that Buddy questions. The facilities were beautiful, decorated very cheerfully, and very welcoming.

Christian Fellowship House was a lovely place. I saw a single room and a double room that had two beds in it. The staff was fantastic, absolutely lovely, very welcoming, warm, congenial, and polite. The place was very pretty, and the grounds were phenomenal. They also have a lot of activities. I was very happy with the placem but it was a little farther away. Their pricing was really good too. The dining room and the sitting areas were lovely. It had a lot of antiques like an old mansion. What makes the place really good is the fact that it's smaller and only has around 40 residents, so everything is personalized in many ways. All the residents looked very happy. The only thing I didn't like was that there were no bathrooms in the rooms.

We moved from PA to NY a few years ago and we had to move my Mom from her facility in Pennsylvania to a facility in the Syosset area. We received some recommendations from friends that included the Fellowship House. As soon as we walked in, spoke to Pam, and met some of the staff, we were convinced it was the right place. In her PA facility Mom was introverted, largely stayed in her room, and avoided most social situations. She complained constantly and was almost never in a good mood. Only a few weeks after joining the Fellowship House family Mom's mood was turned around. She was active with the other residents, her complaining vanished, and she was overall happy. Over the past two years the staff at the Fellowship House have proven to be very caring, attentive, and professional partners in the care of Mom. I stress partners because they are very good about communicating suggestions, issues, any status changes in a clear, timely, and caring way. The care at the Fellowship House has been great, and given Mom's progress, we would highly recommend the Christian Fellowship House.

My experience with the Christian Fellowship House could not have been better. The staff there was very nice and helpful with all of the procedures and care they provided. I liked how involved and kind the staff was to the people staying there, and how close and involved some of them would get. The rooms and areas were very spacious and beautifully decorated, giving a feeling of liveliness and excitement. There where many activity rooms such as for music and games. I also really liked how that i was able to visit any time I wished and the staff there were very accommodating with all of my fathers needs. He genuinely enjoyed the food there and the people he got to meet while staying there.
